Sorry for such a late update, I'm battling a lot guys, so I really appreciate all who supports me, thanks for everything :)

I completely lost balance of life's meaning, it's been a week since the attack, since Dontae was injured, he has been unconscious since I took him to the pack hospital, I hadn't moved from his bedside for days now, only time I moved was when my mate needed me to shower and feed.

I can't lose my lil man, I have always been with my brother, he was the only one I had after the attack on my parents, after they left us, he was just a baby and there were days it was rough with him, days where I wanted to give him to another to rise, I was a still kid myself at that time but, I fought and worked hard for the lil man, to protect him, feed him, teach him, train him, to rise him, to give him a life.

"I love you lil man, please come home, wake up please," I plead barely above whisper while staring down at my hands holding his cold hand, I was completely lost in thought, drowning in memories when Sara walked in.

"Alpha, Tay, what the hell bro, your pack needs you, look your brother is going to be okay,  but aren't your forgetting your mate, your pack, he wouldn't want you seating her days in days out, whimpering like a lil bitch pup," She spoke in her wolf voice, that's my best friend alright.

"sorry, Mark, Chris and Alexis send me in here to let you have it because they know you can't really give me shit about anything when I talk to you like this, plus Alexis doesn't want to feel bad to do it," I chuckled at her explanation of putting my ass in place and literally belittling her alpha, yup that's really my best friend.

"Babe don't take off her head, we sent her in, is it safe to come in, you didn't try to kill your best friend right?" I busted out laughing, my stomach cramped, did my mate really just said all that, I couldn't stop the laughter as I mind link her.

"Come in my love, and no I didn't kill my best friend, why would I do that? Just come in, all of you," I chuckled as I turned towards the door, watching my mate, my beta, third in command and best friend walk in.

On a real note though, Sara was right, I do have a pack and mate that needs me, a pregnant mate to be exact, I smiled at the lil baby bump she as, damn, I didn't even notice she's showing, sigh I almost missed everything.
