Chapter twenty-one

Betty pov

It's been a month, a hell of a month since we broke up. I didn't go to his classes for a week, then i had big tests and then vacation. I only saw him in the hall and in the picture frame that now lays in my underwear drawer. I missed him a lot, i cried a lot but my mom helped me and Veronica, Kevin and at school when i was having a hard time JB was there for me. I told her she didn't have to but she says she likes me a lot and she misses me in the family. Trev and i aren't together anymore, he knowed about it being fake all the time, he was playing the game because then nobody would know he likes Kevin.

I deleted Jughead from my phone and gave his hoodie to his sister. She kept it, i think. FP sended me a message to saying he likes me and that i aM always welcome.

Today it is a hard day. Yesterday i had dinner with mom and Veronica and her mom. But today i have dinner with Veronica, archie, JB, jughead and Gina. The First three asked me to come and i can't say No to them. I love them.

I was putting up Some natural make-up before i put my dress on. "You look amazing" my mom says. She is the only one who knows that i still love him. I don't tell the others because they Will try to convince me in having again a secret relationship with him and i aM not ready for that, i don't want him if he is with someone else is that so weird??

I Kiss my mom goodbye and wave at Juan. He is my mom new lover, he makes her happy and i love that. She deserves the world, she is mine. He is from Belgium and he is a doctor. He works with the kids, when a kid under sixteen comes for a surgery, he is in charge of that kid and it is his departement. I met him three weeks ago and he already lives here, i don't mind because he is a good one. He took me to his work one day, so i could entertain and talk with the kids. We lunched, just the two of us and had dinner with mom. He is good, i like him.

I leave and step in to my car. I drive and my head is in Total stress. I walk to the door and ring the Bell. "Hi b" Veronica says while opening the door. I give her a hug. Everybody is on the couch so i walk over and hug JB very hard. We laugh and i go to archie and hug him too. He whispers in my ear:" just relax we're here for you." I reply with:" thank you red head." He laughs and we leave the hug.

Jughead pov

She hugged my sister like she wasn't related to me and i was so happy for that. They matched,  two lovely girls with big Hearts and a stuborn mind. She hugs archie and he whispers something.

Now i get nervous, i aM next. The girl who Made me cry for a week, who i will love forever stood there almost coming to me. But in our case love wasn't strong enough so i had to let it go and be professional.

She is student, i aM teacher. More is done, done is more. I sit next to my babe Gina and the rest is to forget.

JB looks at me, just as Veronica and Archie when i hug betty short and we both akwardly say:"Hi" she Goes to Gina and the same happens. She sits on the chair next to JB and they laugh already again. I love that.

Veronica opens the chat with:"happy new- year everyone."
Everybody replies with the same words ander go back talking and drinking again. Sometimes i stare at her but focus back on Gina when i feel it.

Betty pov

"So will Kevin not attend?" JB asks. "No he is with rev down T" i say. JB and Veronica laugh and i do to. When we can't say a name we always say the name without the First letter down the First letter.it 's a weird thing but it's ours. "Okay Let's eat," archie says after our moment. Veronica and archie Kiss and we go to the table. I don't look at jughead and try to ignore Gina.

We eat and it was so delicious. "Nice" JB says after her steak. "Thank you for this" Gina says to jughead and archie. They nod and eat further. After that my phone starts to ring.
" sorry excuse me" i say smiling at the name that gets on my phone. I walk away from the table but already start my call.

I laugh: " Hi ......
