Joline pov

"No you need to call" my sister says to me. "I can't i sound way more drunk than you" i say. "That's because you are" she says. "Bitch" i say back. "Can't we call mom? She will understand better. She drinks more and had this " she says. "No no no dad will murder us if we wake up mom. He said that we should call him if there was something " i say. "And can't i try to ride?" She asks. "No c'mon we need to be safe" i say trying to pronounce these words right. "Okayyyyy" she whines. "He will murder us " i say scared. "Yeah maybe we can walk?" She asks. "Yes good idea" i say. We start to walk but after two minutes we already lost our way and we had way to cold.

"Okay i will call him" Juliet says. "Okay thanks sis" i say. I grab her right hand while she calls with her left hand.

The call

Dad- hi Juul everything okay?

J- can you pick us up?

Dad- did something happen?

J- no just please can you come.

Dad- okay i will do i need to punch some boy or girl ?

J- no no dad

Dad- okay because i can Juul. Just ask me.

J- it's not like that dad we just need you to drive us because we can't anymore

Dad- owww because not one of you was so responsible to stay away from the alcohol

J- dad please. We're sorry

Dad- i am on my way just stay where you are and put your location on.

J- thanks dad

End call

"And?" I ask her. "He is coming but he sounded disappointed." She says. "My head hurts so bad i can't take a lecture now" i say laying my left hand on my head. "How did Allison get home?" She asks me. "Veronica and Archie know what it is to be drunk so yeah it wasn't that big a deal" i say watching our dad drive to us. He stops in front of us and says:" get in."

We both take the back seat and sit still. He says nothing and just starts driving. He doesn't look at us but just starts driving. After five minutes we were home and he still didn't say a word. He went upstairs and said:" be quiet your mom sleeps."

"Okay that was weird " juliet says quiet. I nod to her and we go to the kitchen. Juliet and i take some painkiller but i respond bad. I run to the bathroom and start puking. She holds my hair for five minutes and then i say:" go to sleep I am going to stay here for a little bit.

After half an hour i am to tired to stand up. I almost fall asleep on the toilet but dad comes in just on time. He grabs a towel and puts some water on it. He cleans my mouth and my hands. He makes a low ponytail in my hair and brings me upstairs. He takes my shoes off and my jacket and jeans. He picks my pyjama bottom and puts it on me. Thirty seconds later i fall in sleep after a little kiss on my forehead.

Next morning

"Hi sweetheart" my mom says to me while making an egg and bacon. "Hi mom, hi Juul " i say with still a sore head. "You both hungover?" Mom laughs to us. I nod and take an aspirin. "Where is dad?" I ask. "He is on a walk with the dog, i think he didn't want to see you guys like this" mom says while giving me a plate of eggs and bacon. "I think he is pretty mad" Juul says while trying to eat. "Yeah me too" i say. "No he is just disappointed that non of you two took the responsibility to stay sober that night." Mom says. "It will go over you know dad, he loves you guys way to much to stay in this mood" she says.

"Still he is right" i say. "Yeah but girls now you learned your lesson so eat and forget" mom says while stroking our backs.

"Is dad home" i ask mom three hours after our breakfast. "No he isn't" she days worried. "Did you call him?" Juul asks. She nods and we start to get worried too. "Have you called FP?" I say. "Yes i did and he hasn't been there." She says almost crying. "Oh no is he so mad that he left us?" Juul says crying. "No no he can't" i say.

"Let's call aunt Veronica" i say. "Why?" Mom asks. "Because she is your bestie she will know how we can relax you" i say. I grab my phone and call her. After the Call Veronica came over with Allison. I pecked her on the lips and we sat together on a couch. Veronica calmed down mom.

"Where is your dad?" I ask allison.
"He has a game" she says. "Mom dad did not run away, he is at the game" i say. "Yes ofcourse. Archie his team is playing in the home stadium" Juul says. "Ofcourse how did i forget that" Veronica says. "The game starts in twenty. So let's go" Allison says. We all nod and my mom says:" but i look a mess." And she starts crying again. "Betty are you pregnant or something. Your hormones are really playing with you" veronica says. "No i can't jug has a cut" mom says almost mad. "Maybe it's because she needs food" i say quiet to auntie. "Let's give you a toast before we leave" Veronica says. Mom nods and they eat while Juul and i dress ourself.

"Okay ladies let's go" mom says happy again. I laugh and auntie winks at me. We all go in the car and drive to the stadium. Mom brushes her hair and sprays some perfume.

"Hi dad" i say to my dad while he is sitting alone in the players booth. Archie has a booth where he can invite up to thirty people that can watch the game behind glass. "Hi Jo, you better?" he says and smiles at me. I nod and hug him." Thanks for taking care off me while i was drunk" i say in his ear and he answers:" always." I smile and Allison says hello to my dad and we go sit together in a couch. Aunt V takes some drinks and food snd gives it to everyone. Juliet also hugs dad and talks to him.

The last one is mom, she walks over to him and sits in the couch. She hugs his side and he does too. She starts crying and dad asks:" ow sunshine what is going on?" He kisses her hair and forehead and then looks her in the eyes. "I just thought you left me" she says crying. "No never, never" he says with a little smile and kisses her head. "Why are you so sensitive my baby" he asks sweet. "I am not sensitive " she almost shouts. We all try not to start laughing amd dad says with a little smirk: "No you aren't."
