"And that's a wrap for today guys" the director shouts. I am working on my first big role in an opcoming movie. It's a really good one and i have the leadrole so i am soooo excited.

I have an appartement now that is share with my sister and Alyson, my girlfriend. Sometimes Juliet brings a boy home but yeah it's never something serious. Mom and dad adopted a dog after our last one died. His name is Pluche and he is a big but sweet buldog. My dad is totally in to bulldogs.

My dad just finished another book, his eighth. He is really doing well and my mom is still working at school but she will quit in five years. My dad still runs the newspaper but my sister has a part in it too. She owns half the company and the other half is devided between my dad, my mom and I. She leads the everyday things at the company and she is really great in it.

"What are we eating tonight?" I say over the phone. "I was thinking about making noodles" my mom says. I can hear the other persons in the grocery store walking by. " okay that's nice i will come in around an hour with Juul." I say. "Okay hon, dad is already home. Love you. Bye" she says. "See you soon mom, love you too" i say while I walk in the parking lot of the studio's. We eat every friday by our parents. It's tradition Allyson does it too but with her parents. Archie became coach and stopped playing himself. Veronica, runs a fashion shop but i don't think she does a lot. She likes more to shop with my mom or have drinks.

Ten minutes later i arrived  at my place. I took the stairs to the third and opened the door. "I'm home" i yell. "Okaaaay i am dressing myself for the dinner" Juliet yells from her room. i walk over to her room and open the door. "Hi hi" she says. "How was your day at work?" I ask. "Nice you?" She asks. "Good, i am going to change an we will leave in thirty okay?" I say. She nods and makes a loose bun in her hair.

"Hi dad we're here" Juliet shouts while we walk in our house. There is no reaction, he is probably in his writing room. We walk in trying to snoop in his work. We watch over his shoulder and i van read:" my dear Betty, i am sorry that i have to write this." "Wtf dad" Juliet says after reading the same sentence as me. He turns around and closes his laptop. "What did you do to mom" i ask mad. "No girls no it's not like that" he says while looking at us. "Okay explain" Juliet says still mad. "Let's sit in the living room girls" he says and i nod. We walk to the living room and we wait until he speaks.

"So you can't tell your mom okay" he says. I roll my eyes and probably Juul does too. "Girls i am serious" he says almost mad. "Okay" i say. "So last months i hd a lot of headache and sometimes i lost words so i went to the doctor and they found a brain tumor" he says.

The tears come to my eyes and Juul has them too. "Why can't mom know dad?" She asks. "Because your mom will try to save everything. She will search for the best doctors and she will quit her job and read about new treatments and shit and i don't want that. I want to spend this time with her in peace, love and just all that your mom is." He says. "You 're right but she has the right to know it and not by a letter" i say. "I know but i don't want her to freak out or to be like 'you will live juggie, you have too.' Your mom is strong she can do this without me." He says.

"Dad you aren't gonna die" Juul says in tears. "Maybe i do maybe i don't we don't know" he says. "We can't do this without you dad. Don't you want to see your grandchildren? Our us grow up or grow old with mom?" I say to him. "Yes i want all of that but i just want to let things come as they do" he says.

"Okay I understand. When is the surgery?" Juul asks. "Euhmmm next friday" he says. "What?" I yell. "So early? So fast nooo. You have to tell mom now dad" Juul says. "It's friday she had a week to learn to live with it. What is already short. She needs to know" i say. We hear her car ride up to the house.

"Okay i will tell her tomorrow by a good big breakfast if you guys just give us the last family dinner we really need. Please. " he says. "Okay" Juliet says. "But don't you dare to say last family dinner ever again" I say mad to him. He nods and i hug him. After me Juul hugs him fast and mom comes in.

"Hi sweethearts" she says. "Hi mom" we say and go hug her. "I have to start cooking yet but i am happy that you guys are already here" she says while walking to the kitchen. "I can help" Juul says. Mom nods and says:" thanks dear."

Dad and i start dressing the table. "Why can't you tell her after dinner?" I ask him quiet. "Because i want to live through something else before she starts worrying" he says with a smirk. I slap his chest and he starts laughing. "What is so funny?" Mom asks smiling. "Nothing" i say. "I just said i want to make love to you tonight" dad says while he walks over to give mom a kiss on her forehead. "You dork" she says and giggles.

The dinner was great we laughed a lot and had fun. We made a deal with dad that we would come over for breakfast so mom would have company that wasn't lying about having risky surgery for weeks.

Next day

"Ow hi Girls. You are already here" mom says while she comes down the stairs. "Yeah we woke up early" i say. I give her a kiss on the cheek and help dad with finishing the table. "Owww Juggie that's so sweet. I love this" she says and gives him a kiss. "Why did you do this?" She asks while sitting down. Me and Juul wait for what dad is going to come up with now.

"I was thinking that you must need new energy after last night activity" he says with a smirk. "I do" mom says while giggling. Dad gives her a kiss on her cheek and sits down with us. We all take what we like and start eating.

At the end we were just enjoying our drinks. Dad and I were drinking coffee while mom and Juul were drinking some juice.

"Betts, we don't have this breakfast for no reason" my dad says serious. My mom looks at him with a questioning look. "Okay tell me" she says and i know she is getting mad or afraid.

I lay my hand on hers that is laying on the table. "So i had some problems with my head and words some weeks ago so i went to the doctor and they found a brain tumor" he says while looking in her eyes. she starts to tear up but nods. Dad picks her other hand and holds it between his hands. "Dear i know you will be stressing out but don't it has to happen you know that. So i have surgery friday, 8 in the morning" he says. She is sobbing now and Juliet walks over to hug her. Dad looks down, not knowing what to do. I hug him and say in his ear:" it will all be okay."

Dad pulls mom on his lap after that and Juul and i go back to our seats. She keeps crying while he hugs her. "How long do you know this?" She asks out of nowhere. "Three weeks" he says. She stands up and looks at him with a dead glare.

"You knew this for three weeks and was hiding it for me ? You love, the mom of your children, the women you might leave alone" she yells at him. "Hon i know it's not the best but i just wanted you to live normal with me and not have to feel like you have to take care of me every second. I just wanted this time with my betts." He says walking over to her. She relaxes and he hugs her and gives a kiss on her hair.

"If you die, i will be so mad" she says like a threat. "I know hon, i will do my best for my four lady's" he says. "What four ? You have Juul, Jo and me" mom says while looking up.

"And i have my granddaughter that is coming" he says.

I think i am going to make a second part to this so when they were 25(2) because i think i can't just jump 5 years again with all these cliffhangers
