Her family was the kind that were so nice. They always smiled, never fought, and if they did they would make up shortly after. She had two loving parents, a loving sister, and two younger but equally as loving brothers. She had everything she needed or really wanted. She went to see her favorite groups in person. She had a great life. She was loved by many and always had a smile on her face. That was until someone found the door, and looked behind the lie they led.
Her smile had faded, having never been real. Her parents were no longer loving. Yelling at her every chance they could. Making her do a lot, then saying she doesn't do anything. Her brothers would yell at her. Tell her that they didn't care about her, saying she should leave and never come back. Her sister used to hit her, that was until she moved out, but that never stopped the yelling from her.
Everyone secretly hated her, talked about her behind her back. Rumors flew around school, the place she once loved, she now can't stand walking the halls. Seeing everyone who she thought she could trust, seeing everyone who betrayed her. Crying every night until she passed out, not eating but once a day, just to keep people from seeing the truth. Not sleeping due to the constant thoughts running through her mind. Telling her she's not and was never good enough. Everyday smiling, but if you look into her eyes you can see, she wasn't okay. Fighting her own deamons, and everyone else on top of that.
Trying hard to live but can't find the motivation to anymore. Sitting in her room every night fighing and trying to dodge everything thrown at her. Drowning in her own self hatred. Cutting the very skin she was given, wanting to control the pain. She was only 17 and she has been struggling mentally for many years. For a moment she thought that maybe she was finally okay, but then a relapse happened and she lost it all. She no longer wanted to keep living, she had enough of this so called 'life' she was given.
But everyday she still fights to live. She knew she had people who lovedand cared for her, and for that I am happy and content.
Tyler, Ashton, you two have helped me through so much, and this last part is dedicated to you.
Ashton, we've had our ups and downs and you are my bestest friend in the whole world. I honestly don't know what I would do without you in my life. You make my life worth living and because of you and Tyler, I'm still alive. I'm trying everything I can to be there for you and give you back a quarter of the love and support you give me. Without you, I would be absolutely lost.
And Tyler, baby, you help me in more ways than you can ever imagine. I tried to keep the promise of not hurting myself but I caved in, and instead of being disappointed or just out right pitying me, you actually cared and wanted to help me anyway you can. You and Ashton make my life a whole lot brighter and I'm so glad for that. And as I'm typing this you're on your way over here to make sure I'm okay and I am glad. You have shown me so much love and compassion in these past few months than my own blood family. I love you so much and I hope we can stay together till we grow old.
I love you two so much, you have no idea. Thank you for everything you have done for me and I wouldn't change a thing in the world, as long as I have you two in my life I will be happy and content with my life. I'm rambling on at this point so I'm gonna go. I love you both so so much.
