AN~ Hi guys I'm sorry this took so long, and too make it up to you I am going to publish three chapters today to make up for the last three Tuesdays, Enjoy. Picture is Calypsos bedroom.

I woke up to the most heavenly smell and I could hear mom and dad talking in the kitchen. I laid in my bed for a moment trying to wake myself up more since I really was not a morning person. I liked my sleep but I knew if I didn't get out of my bed dad would come get me and I did not want him to come get me. To wake me up, he would throw a bucket of ice and cold water on me.

Dad, Sarus and I were always pranking one another. It drove mum crazy.

I finally got out of bed and pushed my curtains open and was blinded. Once my vision cleared I looked back out and saw the sun rising over the horizon. It was really pretty.

"Calypso! Sarus! Breakfast is ready!" Mum called.

I smiled and raced down the hall then down the stairs and made it to the table before Sarus. I sat down as mum handed me my plate of which had chocolate chip pancakes, sausage links, scrambled eggs, and a piece of toast. Then she set down a cup of chocolate milk.

I smiled up at her and said: "Thank you, mum

I smiled up at her and said: "Thank you, mum."

"Your welcome sweetheart." She smiled back.

I looked over at dad and saw he was reading the Daily Prophet.

"Morning Daddy," I called.

Dad put his paper down and smiled at me and said "Morning goofball."

I smiled and dug into my breakfast

I smiled and dug into my breakfast. A minute later came into the kitchen and sat down. Mum put his plate down in front of him.

"Thank you, mummy. Morning daddy. Morning Lypso." He mumbled.

Morning bud." Dad said.

"Morning Sarus." I greeted.

After a bit mum placed a plate down for her and dad then sat down. Dad put his paper away and began to eat. I was almost done when we heard a hoot and tapping on the window. I got up and opened the window and let Serenity, mum's owl, in. I grabbed the mail from her beak, gave her an owl treat, and gave it to dad before I sat back down and finished my breakfast.

Dad kept looking through until he stopped and a big smile grew on his face and he laughed before he got up and danced around.

"Not this again, Nolan what are you doing?" Mum asked while Sarus and I just kept laughing.

Dad has done this every year since I got my first Hogwarts letter.

"Oh, Cassi our little Calypso and Sarus each have a very special letter." He smiled.

Sarus and I both began to smile ten times bigger, especially after dad handed us our letters. I took it and started to open it up and began to read.

'Dear Miss. Night, Please note that the new school year will begin on September the first. The Hogwarts Express will leave from King's Cross station, platform nine and three-quarters, at eleven o'clock. Third years are permitted to visit the village of Hogsmeade on certain weekends. Please give the enclosed permission form to your parent or guardian to sign. A list of books for next year is enclosed.

Yours sincerely,

Professor McGonagall

Deputy Headmistress.'

Then I looked at the list of supplies I needed and handed the permission slip to mom.

The Essential Defence Against the Dark Arts by Arsenius Jigger.'

"Well looks like we should set a date to go to Diagon Alley." Mum started looking over both Sarus and I's supply lists.

"Can we go today?" Sarus and I asked.

"Sorry kids I have to work today," Dad told us.

I sighed in disappointment while Sarus whined.

"How about tomorrow? Your off tomorrow aren't you Nolan?" Mum asked.

"Yes, I am. So tomorrow then?" Dad asked.

"Yeah alright," I said while Sarus whined.

"What's the matter, honey?" Mum asked him.

"I wish we could go today." He pouted.

"Sorry, buddy. But I have to go to work." Dad explained. "In fact, I had better get going."

"Bye, daddy." Sarus and I both said hugging him.

"Bye dear. Have a good day and be safe." Mum said kissing him goodbye.

"Of course Cassi. When am I ever not careful?" He asked.

Mum gave him a look and he laughed before he took a step back and apparated to work shouting "Love you three!"

For the rest of the day, I worked outside in my garden. Mom had helped me make it last year when I found out that I had a knack for herbology. Sarus was up in the treehouse dad had built for us. Mum was sitting under a tree reading a book while watching over us.

That's how the day went until lunch. We all went in ate lunch then did chores for an hour and a half. After that, we were allowed to do as we pleased. I went to my room and began to draw and color while listening to the radio. I did this until dinner when dad came home.

After dinner, dessert, and talking about our day, we cleaned up dinner, took baths/showers then went to bed. I went to bed smiling and dreaming about tomorrow.
