The next morning we all got up, ate breakfast, got dressed, then apparated to Diagon Alley. When we got there Sarus and I began looking around in excitement as mum and dad discussed the game plan.

The plan ended up being that mum would take Sarus to get his things and dad would take me to get mine then we would all meet up to get Sarus's wand and then we would go get an animal if any bonded to us.

There's a reason I don't have an animal yet. The Night and Hardwin families were well known in the fact they could not have an animal unless it was their familiar.

Dad and I took off acting like the children we were. We got all my new books and other necessities before we went to Gambol and Japes to get loads of pranking supplies. Then we met up with mum and Sarus and went to Ollivanders wand shop. We went in and Sarus went up to the counter.

"Mr.Ollivander are you here?" Mum called.

Mr. Ollivander came around the corner and smiled.

"Ah, Mr. Sarus Night. About time. He said with a soft smile "Hold out your wand arm please."

He held out his arm and Ollivander took the measurements. He then disappeared and came back with a couple of wand boxes. It took him three wands before he found the right one. When he found it, I watched the big smile spread across his face. He ran over and showed it to me.

"Hello, Mr. Ollivander." I greeted.

"How is your wand?" He asked.

"It's wonderful. Hasn't failed me once." I told him.

He smiled with a nod and we said our goodbyes and headed for Eeylops Owl Emporium. I walked and looked at all the owls. This was the third time I had done this. Hopefully this time I would find my familiar.

I continued to walk through looking at the many types of owls before I found a pure black owl with amazing yellow eyes. He tilted his head at me and whooed at me. I put my arm up to him. He watched me for a moment before he hopped onto my arm. I smiled at him then walked to mum.
