Chapter 6

AN~Heres chapter 6. I have trouble writing the way hagrid talks so its gonna be like everyone else. Sorry. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think.

When we finally got to Hogwarts we all got up and got out. I looked over when I heard Hagrid calling for the first years. I nudged Phoebe and told her I was going to go and talk to Hagrid. I quickly ran over with a smile on my face.

"Well if it isn't lil miss Caly," Hagrid said calling me by his nickname for me.

"Hello, Hagrid. How was your summer?" I asked.

"Oh, it was fine Caly. The same as always." He said.

"Well, it's good to see you again Hagrid. Sarus, Harry, Ron don't give too much grief to Hagrid here. Alright?" I asked.

"Yes, Lypso." All three said.

"Good. See you inside." I said.

"Lypso wait," Sarus called.

I kneeled down to his height and met his worried eyes "What's wrong Sarus?"

"You'll still love me even if I get in Slytherin right?" He asked.

"Oh, Sarus. Of course, I will. And so will the whole family. We're not going to abandon you if you get Slytherin." I told him.

"What about Ron. He hates the Slytherins." He said.

"Sarus if Ron says something to you or stops talking to you then he is not a true friend. And I'll beat his arse if he even thinks about being mean to you." I told him.

"I love you Lypso." He said while hugging me.

"I love you too Sarus. Now go on. I'll see you inside." I said standing up and sending him off.

I watched him go with a smile and felt two arms wrap around me.

"What was that about?" Percy asked.

"He was worried about his house. He's scared he'll get Slytherin and that the family won't love him and that Ron won't be his friend anymore." I told him.

"If Ronald does anything I'll kill him myself. Sarus is one of the greatest friends that boy will ever get. He's loyal and protective just like his big sister." Percy said before kissing my head and leading me over to the carriages.

"He is isn't he." I agreed as Percy helped me into the last carriage before getting in himself.

"He is. And if he is in Slytherin so be it. There isn't one bad bone in his whole body. He's a good kid." Percy said.

"I know. I'm worried though. Ron's been Sarus's best friend since practically birth. It would destroy him if he lost him." I told him as I snuggled into him.

He wrapped his arms around me and said "It's an eldest siblings job to worry about their younger siblings. I worry about mine all the time. Even though the treat me poorly most of the time I still worry."

"I know you do. We can worry together." I told him.

"Yes, we can." He said giving me a small peck on my forehead.

We spent the rest of the ride in silence then split off in the great hall to go to our seats. After I sat down I put my hat on and waited for the sorting ceremony to begin. I was extremely anxious.

"Calypso calm down. He will be fine. Slytherin or not he's family. And he always will be." Phoebe said.

"Who you guys talking about?" Cedric a friend of ours asked.

"My little brother," I told him.

"Ahh, the infamous Sarus. You think he'll be a Slytherin?" He asked.
