Chapter Fourteen- Boyfriend~Boyfriend Paradise

The Ferris Wheel halts at the bottom and the employee lets you and Zane off the ride. You find Travis and Katelyn waiting for you a few feet away.

"Soooo, how'd it go?" asks Travis, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

"Perfect," you answer, taking Zane's hand in yours. Travis grins.

"I told you it would work, Zane! Congrats, you two!" he squeals, bouncing up and down a little bit. Katelyn laughs.

"Travis filled me in on his little mission. You guys are cute together." She smiles, then glances at her watch. "Wanna go on one more ride? Then we can get going."

"Yeah, sure, I'm down. How about a relaxing one though?" You have one in mind already.

"Alright, any one in particular?"

"That one," you say, pointing over to the ride you were thinking about. It's a slow one, that raises you up in the air higher than any of the other rides and spins around slowly, letting you enjoy the view.

"That's a good idea. Come on, ladies. You too, Zane." Travis leads the way over to the ride, where there's barely a line at all and you get to get on after only a few minutes. You and Zane sit next to each other, and the seats allow you to cuddle close together. You lay your head on his shoulder, enjoying the view as the ride starts to go up.

"This was a perfect evening," you say, staring out at the island as the ride carries you around in circles.

"It was, wasn't it?" Zane sighs. "Thank you so much."

"For what? I should be thanking you! I've had a thing for you for at least a couple of weeks!"

"Wait, really?"

"Yeah, I talked to Travis about it, didn't he tell you?"

"No, he just said that he was sure you'd say yes."

"Well, there. I liked you."

Zane chuckles. "We sound like high schoolers with the whole 'I liked you' thing."

"Well there's not many other ways to put it, so shut up."

"Fine, fine, I'm just saying."

The ride starts to descend, so you push yourself off Zane and prepare to get off. When you get back to solid ground, you lift the lap bar and start walking towards the exit, Zane following close at your heels. Travis and Katelyn are already there waiting for you.

"Come on, guys. We gonna go home?" Travis asks.

"Who's home? It doesn't really matter for me, (Y/N), and Zane, but you live way across the island," Katelyn says.

"Well how about Zane and I go to your place, girls?"

"I'm alright with that. We'll have to deal with Kawaii~Chan though." You shudder, looking over at Zane. "Are you okay with that?"

"Yeah, that's fine. I'm sure I'll survive." He shakes his head. "Let's get this over with."

The four of you leave the amusement park together, enjoying the cool night air as you walk across the island. Zane takes your hand a few minutes after leaving, which earns an "aww" from Travis and a slight blush from you. You reach the house in about ten minutes, and you can already hear Kawaii~Chan's high-pitched voice inside.

"Oh Irene, she's home. I was hoping maybe we could sneak past her before she got here," you say.

"And it seems like everyone else is home too, Kawaii~Chan must have invited them over." Katelyn sighs. "I was hoping for a quiet evening, but we might end up having another sleepover."
