Mercy:
It's Friday night and I'm sure all the girls are going to look beautiful. Caprice and Naveah look absolutely gorgeous in their dresses. They even went to get their nails and hair done.
"Awh. It's not going to be as much fun without you. I feel horrible that you didn't get a ticket." Naveah came over and sat next to me on my bed.
I didn't tell Naveah that I gave away my ticket for her to have. There's no reason to tell her. I want her to have a good time. Besides, I didn't want to go in the first place.
"It's okay really. I'm actually planning on stopping by Zeta Chi to hang with Angel."
"Ooh. Girl get some!" Caprice grinned before applying her red lipstick.
Grabbing my pillow I threw it at her and we all laughed. "Stop! We're not even dating yet."
"She hit us with that yet." Caprice pursed her lips. Naveah and her giggling.
"He's just a crush right now. Chill."
Naveah rested her head on my shoulder, "It's nice to see you all happy."
"What you mean? I'm always happy." I giggled. I know I pushed guys away but that's because I don't trust them. I kinda trust Angel but I'm still suspicious.
Naveah poked my stomach like a little kid. "I mean happy over a guy. You haven't dated in awhile."
"I guess but you can't trust guys these days. All they want is to fuck, party and make money. It's hard coming across a good guy like that but even good guys have their issues too. Girls want a bad boy knowing that they ain't good for them. Good guys turn into bitches because they are always mistreated. I don't want a good guy or a bad boy. I just want a guy to treat me like somebody."
I felt like I was preaching but it's true. It's hard coming across someone that's 'gonna love you for you. They too busy pursuing someone else. All the cheating and the lies. I hate that.
"That is so true." Naveah agreed with me.
Caprice grabbed her purse, "In some situations that's true. Us girls we always downgrading guys like us girls are nuns. We are just as bad as them. All we need is for a guy to hold us down. Whether it's in bed, love, and making that money."
Caprice checked her phone and began to start texting. I always thought that Caprice is a little gold digger. An opportunist even. Always want something or someone better. I don't even know if she knows anything about being in love. She hops from guy to guy depending on his status.
"So. What's Kai like?" I asked. She been keeping to herself about him I'm wondering if they click.
Naveah sighed and lifted her head, "It's like God personally sculpted this boy. He is so fine."
"Last night we went out and we talked for hours. He's definitely my type and he love touching my booty chile."
Naveah cackled like a hyena and I joined in laughing with her. The stuff that come out her mouth.
Caprice almost shrieked she's so excited. "The Kappa Omega party bus is waiting for us outside!"
"Alright y'all have fun." I said watching them both check themselves out before waving goodbye and leaving.
I heard a couple other girls cheering down the hall. They're definitely ready for this party.
After taking a shower I changed into my acid wash high waisted, blue jean shorts. They have designed rips in them. I pulled a white crop top over my head. It's a jersey shirt that says Flawless with the number 16 below it in black letters. Pairing my outfit with my blue, green Jordans with neon yellow shoestrings. I have the smallest feet but I definitely look cute. Straightening my hair I finalized my outfit with a gold necklace that said Baby.
