Karson:Suspension off the team wasn't the slightest of good news. I won't be competing at the meet this weekend or attending the one for next week. I could care less about pledge week. Last night I was too vexed to think about partying the night away. I wasn't even happy that Zeta Chi's power went out and their lawn was trashed with condom wrappers and tampons. I didn't even care that Kappa Omega stole all of their alcohol supply and that it'll last until at least half of second semester. That's how vexed I was.
On the bright side we have twenty pledges but only ten will be chosen by the end of the week.
My room door opened and pledge number five carried in my laundry. "It's all freshly washed and it's still hot from the dryer."
"Alright. I want my boxers folded along with my tees. Place them in my drawer organized. Hang up the rest of my clothes and place them in the closet next to Isaiah's. Thanks." I ordered. Not bothering looking away from my phone I continued to check the latest tweets. The sound of pledge number five groaning made me look up.
"Since you want to pout you can also clean my bathroom after you're done. You might want to wear gloves and hold your nose. Alton blew it up in there."
He didn't say anything after that he just did what was told. Pledges didn't have it easy. I know I didn't have it easy freshman year as a pledge. I had to earn a room in this house.
Elijah walked into the room and smirked at the pledge taking care of my laundry. "I see you're enjoying this."
"Sure."
"I know coach isn't that dumb to let our best swimmer on the team miss an important meet."
I know how Coach is. He abides by the rules and just because I swim excellent doesn't mean I deserve special treatment. No matter the cause. "Coach is like stone. He's hard to crack. There's no way I'm swimming this weekend."
Elijah sat on the edge of Pretty's bed. "Beau did strike you first. He knows you don't hold back. He shouldn't be fighting over a girl anyway. Especially not a thot."
I placed my IPhone in my back pocket. Just the mention of his name made me clench my jaw. I can't believe I let him rile me up and get suspended off the team.
"What's up with you man?"
Elijah ran his hands through his blonde hair, "Going on a date with Gianna to the beach."
"The girl from the bar?"
Elijah scrunched his nose in disgust before shaking his head. "Nah man. That was a quickie. This girl she fine as hell. She got a little booty but she has some size C breasts. She blonde and has some nice blue eyes. I'm really feeling her."
Elijah was always a player but when he really likes the girl he actually treats her right. If only Pretty could learn a thing from Elijah. I needed some guidance when it came to girls too.
"You gonna be whipped soon."
"Nah. Hey, you should invite Mercy."
Invite Mercy? I wasn't thinking about the bet until just now. Maybe we can smooth things over a little if we have some fun.
"Yeah I should." I took out my phone and went down my contact list to find her number. Damn. I don't have her number.
Elijah laughed, "You so smooth but you don't even have her number bro."
Elijah parked his silver Camaro in front of the Sunset Bay Apartments. I knew that she stayed with Naveah since she cut Caprice off.
Knocking a couple times on apartment fourteen until Naveah answered. She stood in her pajamas. She's cute but definitely not my type. That's all Kai.
