Percy's P.O.V

"Guys, I just don't know how I should do it... Part of me wants to make it really romantic and adorable, but most of me wants to make it really stupid!" I paced the floor of my cabin. Jason, Frank, Leo, Will and Nico were there, trying to help me think of ways to propose to Annabeth.

"From experience from dating a child of Aphrodite, they appreciate something really well thought-out and romantic."

"Yeah, Hazel is the kind of person who would like that, too. But Annabeth might be a different case."

"Yeah, cause you guys were best friends for years before you dated, you've experienced so much together, so maybe you could.... Oh, I dunno. I'm just a Repair Boy, you can't expect me to be good at this!"

"Well, if, say, I was gonna propose to Nico-"

"Wait, What?!" Nico exclaimed.

"Just hypothetically!" Will added "If I was gonna propose to him, I'd probably use one of our inside jokes or something like that, something maybe that only we would understand."

I started to get an idea. "Wait wait wait, I know what to do! I'm gonna need all of your guys help, though."

"Of course!" They all chorused.

"Ok, here's what I need you to do." I whispered my plan to them.

***Time Skip***

At lunch in the dining pavilion, everything was set up. Will and Nico were hidden behind the left side of the pavilion, Jason and Leo on the right. Frank was sat next to Annabeth, who was ferociously studying her laptop.

"H-Hey Annabeth...." Frank awkwardly started "So... You've been working pretty hard on your architecture designs and... Percy was worried about when you've last eaten, so.... Uh.... Maybe you should get some food or something......" He trailed off.

"Good point." She responded " Hey, Seaweed Brain!" She called to me from across the pavilion "Pass me some food, would you? Just something easy to eat while working, like a banana or something."

Smirking, I grabbed an apple from the table and tossed it to her. Her battle reflexes kicked in and she caught it. All of a sudden, all of the chatter in the dining pavilion stopped and they all turned to look at me and Annabeth.

"Umm... Percy..." She nervously said "Don't you know that throwing an apple to a girl counts as a marriage proposal in Ancient Greece?"

I couldn't stop the huge smile spread across my face "Of course, Wise Girl. Do you want the ring, too?"

Will, Nico, Jason and Leo leapt out from their hiding place, pulling party poppers that Leo had made which spelt out Will you marry me, Wise Girl? in confetti.

"Percy!" Annabeth gasped "Of course!" She ran into my arms and kissed me.

I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her as close as I could "I love you, Annabeth" I whispered.

"I love you too, Seaweed Brain." She whispered. I held her in my arms, holding her tight. Everyone in the dining pavilion was probably watching us, but I didn't care. And for that moment, nothing else mattered.
