A/N: Did you know that if you go on Google Translate and translate Will Percy Jackson ever die into Greek and then translate that back into English, it translates to Percy Jackson will never die!!!!!!!

Annabeth's P.O.V

Percy Jackson was dead. Over 2 years ago, he'd gone on a quest and had never returned. No body was ever found, but he was presumed dead by almost everyone. Only Leo, Will, Grover, Tyson, Rachel and I didn't believe it. I just couldn't give up on him. He hadn't given up on me when everyone thought I had died falling off the cliff with the Manticore in what seemed like decades ago.

I couldn't bear to be anywhere where I'd ever been with him, so I just stayed in my room. Olympus, New York and especially Camp Half-Blood. Even the sight of Mount Tam brought memories back to me of his quest to rescue me from Luke. All I did was sit on my bed, crying and remembering. My dad brought me meals up and I had to force them down and even then I barely ate anything.

One horribly sunny August day, only a week before Percy's 24th birthday, I got an Iris message from Grover who was at Camp thinking of places he could search for Percy with Junipers help (who didn't really think that Percy was alive but couldn't convince him).

"ANNABETH!!!!! HE'S BACK!!! HE'S FINALLY BACK! HE'S HERE AND HE'S BADLY INJURED BUT HE'S ALIVE!!!!!!!"

"Wait, really?! No, it can't be. It has to be some kind of trick! One of the gods!"

"No, it's really him!! Trust me!!!"

"I'm coming right now!" I leapt from my bed, grabbed my coat and the emergency bag I had packed ages ago. Just before I left the room, I heard Grover yell "Leo's coming on Festus to pick you up!"

I ran down the stairs and to the front door.

"Annabeth?" My dad asked "What are you doing up? What happened?"

"Can't stop, Percy alive, gotta go, see ya!" I flung the door open and ran outside. I wasn't sure where Leo was right now, but I had to go somewhere, get closer to Camp and....and Percy. I ran down roads, not sure where I was headed, one thought in my mind 'He's alive, He's alive, He's alive!' I only stopped when a huge bronze dragon landed on front of me.

"Annabeth! Quick, jump on!" Leo yelled.

I leaped up onto Festus' back and we soared up into the sky. We flew for over 4 hours in silence. Nothing else mattered. Nothing but Percy.

When we finally reached Camp, it was almost completely empty. I ran straight to the infirmary, where a huge group of people, probably the whole of Camp, were gathered around it. I could see Tyson's giant figure in the middle of the crowd, even him struggling to get through them.

Rachel suddenly appeared next to me "Hey Annabeth....Are you doing ok?"

"Uh huh." I answered distractedly, standing on my tiptoes and peering above the crowd to try and find a way to the door "We need to get through."

"I got this." Rachel stepped forward and gestured for us to follow. The crowd instantly parted for her, leaving a clear path to the door. Tyson joined us and we easily made it to the door. Will Solace was standing in front of the door, stopping anyone from getting through "Only family and close friends allowed through!" He kept on shouting.

"Hey Will." Rachel said "Can we get through?"

He hesitated for a second, then saw me and Tyson "Of course" and stepped aside for us.

The infirmary had quite a few people in it, but in the corner, his bed surrounded by people, was Percy.

I ran to him, pushing past the people, and knelt next to his bed. He was sitting on an infirmary bed, wearing a Camp Half-Blood top and jeans, now badly scorched and scratched. He still had his Camp necklace on, the owl pendant that I'd given him just before he left for his quest 2 years ago still there, clutched in his hand. He had a huge gash on his leg which I couldn't bear to look at, cuts and bruises scattered all over his body, a big cut on his forehead and probably a dozen broken bones.
