Final chapter

A/N: *reads the title* Hey, Don't give me those glares please. You'll kill me. (T_T)
Remember I told you the storyline doesn't follow a timeline?
Ah, thank goodness I was saved there.
This chapter's gonna be really long. That's why I divided it into two.

.

The day after she opened up to me, she called me.

"Hi, Jungkook." Her voice came as soon as I pickup the phone after a few seconds of hesitation.

"Yes?"
"Can you come here for a sec?"
"Me?" I ask uncertainly.
"Ya ya, you there. Quit complaining and come. Come now." She sounded weird. Not her voice, but the way she talked.

Curious as to why she called me, I pace to her office room. It was night and the building was empty. I was about to leave when she called.

I open the door to see an empty chair. She left already? My gaze averts to a fallen figure lying on the floor.

I run to her crouching and shaking her lightly, calling her name. But she doesn't stir.

"Oh... Jungkook." She opens her mouth and subsequently her eyes. The smell of alcohol greets my nostrils.

"You drank- How much did you to make yourself like this?" I turn around to look at the table two bottles and half emptied out. I see the label, it was a strong one.

A slight tug makes me turn back to her. "Take me home." She says as she hands her car's keys. "I don't think I can drive." She laughs in a raspy voice.

Running my fingers through my hair, I decide to help her. "Fine, get up." She looks at me and pouts streching her arms signalling me to pull her up.

I pull her up and fling her left arm over my neck, my right hand supporting her right shoulder.
She walks a few steps before streching her right arm towards the table having the bottle.

I look at what she is doing and say, "No. Not anymore." She smiles sheepishly before grabbing the bottle in her right arm. I sigh and hold her up.

"Will you help me?" I ask her. "At least move your feet or how am I going to take you to your car?"

"Carry me." She grins. I try to brush away the fact that my heart skipped as I deny to her.

"Come on." With much difficulty we finally make it to the elevator.

I press the button to wait till it reaches the basement. Once in the basement, I lift her just like before but this time subconsciously putting my right hand over her waist to get a better grip.

"Here. Hop on." I open the gate of the car placing her inside the passenger seat. "Mind your head."
I close the door and sit on the driver seat.

I ignite the engine and she drozes off. "Hey! Wake up. I don't know where your house is!"

She flutters her eyes open. "I want to."
"What?"
"I want to sleep."

"What!" I look at her placing a hand on the head restraints (headrests) and turning sideways.

That's when I realise, I forgot to buckle up her seat belt. I lean to catch hold of the belt. She looks at me, her eyes on my lips. Soon as I catch hold of her belt and decide to pull back, she presses her lips on mine.

My eyes widen as I tasted alcohol from her mouth. I freeze, my head spinning and my heart beat a thousand times faster.

She intensifies her kiss, when I abruptly break it. Moving back I pull the belt and buckle her up.

I look in front, the head lights shining ahead. 'She doesn't know what she is doing. The alcohol makes her vulnerable, I guess.'

I look back to see her dozing off again. Not wanting to face the consequences,  I decide not to wake her up. I put my head on the stirring wheel and look at my feet.

'What should I do now? Why did she call me for help and what made her drink liquor inside the building of her father's company?'

And I know there's /no/ making this right, this right
And I know there's /no/ changing your mind, your mind
