I stuff my belongings from my office desk to a brown cardboard box, recalling the day I confessed to her.

"Saranghae. I love you."

My eyes becomes puffy as I snap back to reality.

"I hate you." I hear a voice.

I laugh as I deny the possibility.
"I think my heart will still love you."

"Pabo." I hear it again. "You were always like that? Stubborn and immature?"

I turn myself from the desk to see her standing behind me. I look down at the floor. I didn't have the courage to talk to her.

"Tell me Jungkook." She looked at me, her gaze burning in my head even when I wasn't looking at her. "Tell me, were you guilty?"

"My heart wouldn't accept it until I hear from you." She looked desperate. "I have to hear it from your lips. Did we- did you-" She stopped for a moment thinking what to say, "Did it happen?"

I shifted uncomfortably, looking down pretending to not care.

"Pabo." She says quietly her lowering her gaze towards the floor, somewhere on her right side. I lift my head to watch her blink her eyes several times to brush off her tears. She regains her composure and looks at me. "Do you really love me?"

I look at her surprised, unable to comprehend what she said.

"I remember what happened that night." She walks further towards me shifting the chair obstructing her motion.

"You- you remembered?" I stutter.

"Yes."

I gulped. Please don't blame yourself.
"You drank too much. You weren't in your right mind. It's not your fault."

She comes closer as I back away towards the desk behind me and hold onto the edge with my hands, on either side.

"True, I wasn't in my right mind. But right now, you aren't." She says with her face right in front of me with her breath against my collar, her eyes looking more beautiful up close even with the large tears threating to fall out.

My heart melts as I see pain and guilt in her eyes. How I miss her laugh and her curious foxy eyes.

With the close proximity between us, I couldn't deny the adrenaline rushing inside my blood. I gulped again.

"You love me and yet you lie to me. You should hate me but still continue to love me... I just can't understand your love."

Neither can I.

The next moments fuse out in a blur.
My beating heart is calmed as she wraps her hands around my back her head resting on my shoulder. I could feel tears getting soaked by my shirt as she buries her face and muffling her sobs. She recovers herself and looks at me with her beautiful brown eyes now turned red from crying.

"I love you too, Jungkook." She finally replies. "I love you more than I thought. My heart can't control it's feelings anymore." She pauses.
"I vowed to never fall in love again after seeing the destruction it could bring. But... that day, I drank because of this, and I called you of all people. That's when I found out what my heart desires. It's you."

Hearing her words, my heart almost stopped beating. I wrap my hands over her, pulling her close into a hug. "Kamsahamnida." I say carelessing her hair with my hand. "For everything." My heart beats again in a different rhythm now, matching hers.

"Don't thank me yet." She says breaking her hug. "I have to take care of some things."

She said she'll make everything right and she did. After multiple apologies to her father, she made him understand and agree to our newly born relationship. Talking to her father, I finally experienced the joy of having someone patting your shoulder whom I can call 'dad'.

We reached her sister through RM's help.
"She is here." RM hyung says as we sit down on the living room. I see her nod slightly as Shia appears from behind the door.

She looks at her sister and me, then at RM. "Why are you here?" She says finally looking at her sister.

"Shia, we need to talk." I hear her voice firm.
"No."

"Please." Hearing her voice soften out of the blue, Shia and I look at her equally surprised. But then Shia looks at RM. I watch his eyes soften as he nods ever so softly.

"I'm sorry, unnie." Shia says leaving me shocked and innocent of all. "I-"

"Gwenchana." She smiles, "I'm happy to know I found my sister back."
She goes and hugs Shia intinctly but Shia doesn't decline. Instead I see tears form in Shia's eyes for the first time.

After everything worked out, I look at Namjoon hyung as he smiles at me. I didn't know what made him so happy.

Shia breaks the hug smiling at her sister and then runs towards RM instantly hugging him. "If it hadn't been for you." She cries.

I see everyone except me smile, even Shia with her tears.

What was it that I didn't know?

"Everyone having fun, I see." Jimin says entering the room. "Mianhae hyung, but the front door was open." He says looking guilty at RM hyung. He smiles lightly at looking at us being together. But the Jimin's attention turns towards RM hyung when he speaks.

"Opps! Might have forgot to lock the door." RM laughs showing a raspberry.
"You bet." Jimin says laughing along.

Seeing my hyungs and others smiling, my heart fills up in joy. I don't want this moment to go. I close my eyes.

"What are you doing, Jungkook?" The pain that I had experienced all this time was finally replaced with this...

Brushing off the tears I look at her and answer, "I was just looking back at the last time when I experience this kind of joy."

She smiles at me. "And when was it?"

I smile with a pained expression.
"It was with my parents."

Dear readers,
So this chapter exceeded 5000 words and I needed to end it somehow, still with some unanswered questions and plotholes. I am thinking of filling those gaps using RM's rap lyrics of this song.
So, three chapters more to go! (Though the story ends here. There will be flashbacks now onwards)
