~(Y/N)~

I wish waking up would be like the movies where the protagonist looks beautiful and seems to have had a good night's rest. I wished for it on my birthday but not every wish can come true. Dragging my messy self out of bed after hearing my alarm go off for about the sixth time.

Stumbling into the bathroom I flip on the light and step in front of the sink, glancing up I look at myself for a moment. My eye bags almost seemed as though they had bags of their own. I'm going back to bed. After using the bathroom I slowly make my way back to the bed, I longed to be back in the warmth provided by my blankets. If I could I'd spend my whole life curled up under the sheets sleeping the day away.

But as I go to climb back in, my phone goes off and the screen turns on. With a soft groan, I turn and pick up my phone. The exhaustion I felt before slowly begins to fade as I read the text sent by my boyfriend of six months texting me. 'You better be up brat. Get yourself dressed and go here, I have some errands for you to run today.'

My shoulders slump tiredly as I text him back. 'Seriously? Of all days?! Can't you do it yourself?' I waited a few minutes for his response by keeping my phone on and watching at the bottom as he typed his message.

'It's a few special errands. And if you don't I'm sending Hanji over to drag your ass out of bed. After you're done we'll go out to eat for your birthday.'

I groan once more as if it were the only sound I could make at this point. But if he was rewarding me with food, I might as well do as asked. 'Ugh fine, but you better be taking me somewhere nice shorty.'

Shutting my phone off I head over to my closet now with new objectives. Opening it I sift through the clothes that fell onto the floor and the remaining that were hung up. After picking out my outfit I waltz back into the bathroom.

Once I was ready I step out of the bathroom, slip on my shoes by the bedroom door and head out into the main living space of my apartment. Grabbing my bag on the way I take a final glance at myself in the long mirror by my door before turning slightly to my door. Opening it, I was surprised to see my best friend Hanji standing there. "Let me guess he had you ready to come drag my ass out of bed?" I ask.

"Not only that but I'm here to help you with your special errands!" she says happily before continuing on, "And to give you this since it's your birthday!" she says, he holds out a box with a bow on it. Taking it from her I slowly opened it to find a book, but not just any book a book on the male anatomy.

"What am I supposed to use this for?" I ask.

"There's more, and I thought it'd be fun to have on your bookshelf." she says. Lifting the book up an envelope falls out of the book. Kneeling down for a moment I pick up the item and stand back up straight once again. I rip open the letter to find a silly card and fifty bucks.

"Thanks, Hanji. It's the best-weird-gift I've ever received." I tell her.

She smiles and locks her arm with mine, tugging me down the hall we make our way to the lobby then outside. The cool morning air hit me like a slap to the face, walking forward with Hanji, we get into her car. "Okay so, where to first?" I ask.

"You'll see." she says with a coy smirk tugging at her lips, pushing at the bridge of her glasses I watch them slide back and slightly. As she starts the car I quickly buckle up before her car could beep at me for not having it on. Hanji turns the wheel of her car and starts to pull away from the curb.

I wonder what kind of errands these are? Levi didn't really explain...maybe it's a birthday thing. Driving through town Hanji soon pulled along the curb in front of a park. A rather familiar park I used to go to, just for the fun of it. Especially before my poor dog passed away only a few months back. "Alright let's go." Hanji says.
