Loud chatter was heard. Sounds of victory and sounds of discontent could be heard all around. The sizzling of champagne and the clatters of wine glasses tapping against each other made the ambient even more alluring. A man in a suit eyed the people around him carefully. The man's eyes stopped moving when he saw a beautiful woman dressed in an expensive dress that fit her body perfectly. The woman had diamonds decorating her body as if she were a masterpiece. Truth be told, she was, and the man couldn't deny it. The woman's sharp eyes and the man's bold eyes met each other from across the luxurious casino room. The woman smirked and the man nodded curtly. The man slowly made his way towards the beautiful young woman. When the man was just a couple of steps away from her, she walked towards him and grabbed ahold oh his body. The two knew their love for each other was dangerous. The two knew that their love was destined to fail. But the burning passion and love they felt towards each other made them lose all sense. The man grabbed the woman's chin gently but firmly. Not being able to wait any longer he pressed his lips on hers, not caring who could see them, not caring that their cover could be blown, not caring that his action could lead to disastrous consequences for the both of them. The woman instantly kissed him back. They both knew what they were doing. They knew they put themselves in grave danger. But all they needed was each other's love and presence.
You heard someone clear their throat and your eyes peeled away from the screen, that was playing an action movie filled with romance, to a somewhat uncomfortable Seungmin.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just- nevermind."
"No its fine you can tell me", you smiled at your best friend.
It surprised you a bit that Seungmin didn't want to tell you something, no matter how small or stupid it was, he would always tell you everything. The two of you had met when your brother, Hyunjin, brought over his friends from school to your guys' house. That day, you ended up with eight new friends. You absolutely loved all of them but you were closest with Seungmin. And you loved him even more than the rest, but not as just a friend. But of course you wouldn't tell your cocky- but good-hearted- best friend that. Truth be told, you were afraid you would ruin your amazing friendship with him if you confessed. How cliche.
He sighed.
"It's- it's just that when I was watching how the two characters", he said referring to the man and the woman in the movie," were holding each other, and how you could tell they loved each other, it made me a bit jealous of them. 'Cuz I dont have that", he said looking down and rubbing the nape of his neck.
