Seungmin sighed as he scrolled through his phone, he had too many thoughts running about in his head. Thoughts that were mainly centered around one person. You, a mere stranger that he had seen only a handful of times. The dandy boy sighed for the umpteenth time as he continued to scroll through his Instagram feed, which had been rather boring lately.

The picture of a delicious-looking brownie, sprinkled with bits and pieces of peppermint candy, caught his eye. The dessert looked exactly like the ones he served at the bakery where he worked, and coincidentally enough, it was just like the brownie he had given you just this morning. He glanced up at the picture's location and sure enough the words "Placebo Bakery" were written above it. His eyes widened a bit and a small smile made its way to his lips, actions that came along with a feeling of pride, side effects of having his friends' dessert being "spread" around, not to mention the fact that he had been the one to come up with the idea to sell the winter-esque brownies.

Soon enough he had a greater shock as his eyes wandered further up towards the profile icon and he saw your face, the same one that had been on his mind all day.

He found it strange how you kept popping out of nowhere, when he least expected it, when he most needed a little uplift. A stranger that piqued his interest, perhaps it was work of your beautiful smile or the way your eyes sparkled at the sight of dozens of pastries and desserts. He didn't know what it was, but he was glad to have found you, he felt a mysterious feeling in his chest whenever he saw you, one he had never felt, and he liked it.

Seungmin knew he was going to take the step and get to know you more, maybe you could produce more side effects. The ones he needed, the ones he yearned for. Perhaps it was you, the side effect he had been looking for all along.
