A dry chuckle left your dry lips as your brain analyzed the situation you were in.
"I can't believe we're bonding over the fact that we both have daddy issues."
The raven-haired boy gave you a sly smile, one that was conveniently adorned with specs of blood at one corner.
The small twinkle in his eyes gave you the hint that, he also, found your guys' situation quite humorous.
"You know, I wouldn't have thought we had similar ways to see certain things. I can't believe it took a trip to jail to find out."
You smiled at Hyunjin's words.
It indeed took an overnight stay in jail for two people who formerly couldn't stand each other, to become somewhat amiable with one another.
"You know, you never did thank me for saving your butt back there", the troublesome adolescent playfully raised his eyebrows.
You rolled your eyes at the boy before you.
You sighed swallowing the little pride that was threatening to coat your words, "Thank you, for helping me. And um, just for the record, you aren't that bad."
