Chapter 3

Mia's POV

Pete placed a small bomb on the outside of the wall, after a few seconds it exploded and we all got into position. Jackson's scent instantly hit me, though somehow it wasn't the same. I got exited, this was the moment that everything would go back to normal, well sorta. After the smoke cleared, I could see two figures. When the air was clear once more I could see who they were, one was Gorge and the other, Jackson. Jackson I thought happily.

His hair was dark brown, his shirt was bright red and his jeans were black. He also had a collar on around his neck. He was also wearing no shoes, today was a freezing cold day, how was he walking around barefoot, and with nothing warm on at all.

We stood apart from each other, with only the long table between us. It felt amazing to be in his presence once again.
"Jackson?" I whispered, I could feel my tears welling up.
"Well well Well, reunited once more I see." Gorge spoke loudly with his hands in the air, as if he were a game show host or something.

Jackson's POV

Mia, Jessica, Calum and Pete were standing in front of us. I didn't exactly know or have met Calum or Pete, but a few months ago I ran a background check. Pete can create sonic waves from his hands, Calum could run really fast, Jessica could control water and Mia could do what I can.

"Well well Well, reunited once more I see." Gorge spoke loudly making sure that everyone in the room could hear.
"Gorge, let Jackson go." Mia yelled, she seemed angry.
"I think you misunderstand, Jackson's not my prisoner, he's here of his own free will." Gorge announced. I glared at her with anger and hatred, does she seriously think I need help.

"So.... are you still up to your old tricks." Pete asked in a mocking tone.
"I don't know what you mean." Gorge lied.
"Jackson what are you doing here, you don't belong with him." Mia asked and pointed to Gorge to emphasise the "you don't belong with him" part.

"And what makes you such an expert on where I belong?" I asked in a cocky tone.
"We're best friends, I know what's best for you." She continued. My blood began to boil, did she really think that we were still friends, after what she did?
"We're not best friends, heck we're not even friends. You don't know me at all, you don't have the right to call yourself that in front of me." I said angrily, staring at her with anger and frustration.

"Now now, that's no way to treat our guests, why don't we give them a warm welcome." Gorge interrupted. I could hear the sarcasm in his voice. I gave an evil smirk. I had a feeling that whatever was going to happen next was gonna be fun.

Calum and Pete started to run towards us, Gorge and I smiled at each other and did the same. We jumped on the table and fought, Gorge fought Calum and I fought Pete. Pete shot wave after wave of sonic waves, I dodged each and everyone of them before lunging on him and shifting into my wolf form. I bit his shoulder, ripping the flesh, blood flowing out and soaking through his stupid suit.

He screamed in pain and agony, but for me the sound and feeling was a thrill of excitement. After a few moments, Pete was out cold, his shirt covered in blood. I looked over towards Mia and Jessica, they were watching in shock. I snarled and growled at them with such anger and force, it made them jump.

I jumped off the table, still in wolf form, I growled. I could hear Gorge fighting Calum, it sounded like Calum was a worthy opponent.
"Jackson please." Mia pleaded, Jessica took slow steps backward as she looked at me in horror. Much of my fur was covered in blood, the blood of their friend, no wonder she looked that way.

I continued snarl, slowly approaching them. All of a sudden Mia shifted into wolf form and snarled at me, I did the same before lunging at her and ripping into her neck. She yelled and squealed in pain, but I didn't care, after a while she stopped moving. She wasn't dead, just unconscious. I turned to Jessica who had already fainted.
