She limped into a shady glen,
drawn there by Whispered Love:
"Come take your rest here unoppressed
as Pain roars high above you."And at its heart a Great Elm stood,
leaves rustling in the breeze.
"Come trust the Earth, believe your worth
when troubles seek to freeze you."She gazed around with ravaged face;
her burdens pierced her breast.
"Come sing a song, for far too long
these trials have sought to test you."A glen of hope, a glimpse of peace
revived the heartsick traveller.
A glen of peace, a glimpse of hope,
a tangled web Unraveller.*
A gentle humming filled the air,
its promise soothed her mind:
"Come cry with us, then fly with us
beyond the fears that bind you."With trembling hands she shared her load
with Trees of every age.
"Come take my tears and all my fears,
your power now uncage me."The Elm Tree washed her wounds with love,
renascent hope untied.
"Come lift your voice; you have a choice.
Let Earth redeem and guide you."A glen of strength, a glimpse of power
restored the new-healed traveller.
A glen of power, a glimpse of strength,
a friendship web and Raveller.
