Hey guys! Alright, I apologize for not update this chapter. I'd make this, almost finished even, few days ago. But then, my stupid phone decided to went off. And.. HURRAAHH! All my hard work deleted. Great. So after that, I'm not in mood. But now I am.

So please, enjoy this chapter.

P.S : I made this between playing my mom's Smurf's Village and eating my aunt Hershey's Cookies n Creme cereal.

NOTE: THERE'S SOME SWEAR WORDS IN THIS CHAPPY. You probably think that Percy didn't swear, like ever. But this isn't the same Percy, alright? And he's a grown up man now. Please bear with me *puppy eyes*

Percy's POV

I was just sitting there, in the back of helicopter SHIELD had generously sent. That was sarcasm, if you couldn't tell. SHIELD never is generous; they only do that to high level agent— like me.

I close my eyes, trying to push off the left off adrenaline that was pumping my veins. I take a peek at the cloudy sky. It always is cloudy, whenever I'm in the sky. Sometimes it rains, but nothing more. They can't hurt me, and they knew it. Even Zeus wouldn't dare to struck me with his precious lightning bolt when I'm at his domain.

Sigh.

There's probably no mission for me for at least, a day. I will be either given a day off or I will have to work indoor. That's SHIELD. They never give mission the same exact day, they'll always give the files days before. If they do, then it was either a total last minute decision, or something really big happened.

A sigh escaped my lips. I close my eyes, trying to savor this peaceful moment. I'd never had a really long peaceful moment in my life. Usually it ended up with more mission, danger, and similar things like that. But for now, nothing's gonna happen. More minutes, and I'll be cuddling my pillow in my soft, comfortable queen-size bed on my blue, warm room in—

"Agent Jackson, Agent Romanoff, do you copy?"

Fuck.

I really really should've turned off my comm this moment while I has the chance. But Fury's voice worries me. Not because he seems in rush (he tends to do that a lot), but it was the worry and panic tone that made me become panic as well.

"Yes sir, I copy." I answered at the same time as Natasha do.

He sigh in relieve at the other side, "finally. I've been trying to contacted you for a while now. It's time this piece of crap work."

Nat and I keep our mouth shut, allowing the director to continue.

"Alright, listen close now, Black Widow, Hurricane."

I blinked. He called us by our code name— our assassin name (I refused to say it "hero name"), which mean things have gotten worst that I thought before.

He continue, "We need you to stop what you do and do some important mission for us. I don't care if you're in the middle of mission, but I need you to do what I told you, do you understand?"

"Sir, what happened?" I asked, feeling uneasy feeling at my gut— a feeling I hadn't felt for a while now. I hope this wasn't what I thought it is.

"Loki happened." Loki? "An hour ago, I was in the base, watching Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S., when a portal opened up from the Tesseract, and a man walked out." I grimace as he mentioned the project. I'd never appreciate this one; it was too stupid and selfish, but who am I to object it? All I can do is watch, and hope things will be better than I hoped for.

"He wear an armor resemblance Thor's strange one. He has horned helmet in his head, and he's got glowing spear. All in all, he took the Tesseract, and I could only barely escaped from the base before it collapse to ashes."

"Loki?" Nat's voice rang. "As in Thor's brother?"

"Indeed, Romanoff."

I make my voice void of emotions. "How many casualties?"

When Fury answer, his voice was heavy. "More than half couldn't get out."

I chocked mentally. More than half? That means hundreds. My mind flashed to my best friend's face. He was stationed to watched the project. Is he..?

Nat, who realized it, asked with worried voice. "How about Barton? Is—"

"He's fine," Fury cut her. I feel relieve wash over me before Fury speak again, "at least, that's what we thought."

"Pardon me, sir?" I said.

"Loki had turned Barton and Selvig; they escaped to goddamn-know-where. We assume he won't kill them, but use them. Agent Hill and Agent Coulson were safe, along with several agents from the base."

A silence pass. I tried to process the information. Loki turned Clint and Dr. Eric Selvig. He made them to be in his side. He made them to work for him. He made them think we're the enemies.

That's wonderful.

Fury cleared his throat, breaking the somehow tense silence. "Now, are you up for the missions?"

"Yes, sir." Nat answered, her voice monotone. There's shouting from Nat's comm, before the sound of something hit another thing, then the sound of something breaking, and the last is the sound of someone's gun.

"Alright," said Fury, unfazed by the sounds from Nat's comm. We'd gotten used by it, anyway. "The Council think we should use Phase 2, but Phase 2 aren't ready, while the war has started brewing. We need a team— a team of superheroes."

My eyes widened, "Whoa. But wasn't the idea closed, sir?"

I know. I'm always the protesting one, while Nat usually just take her mission without much asking.

"It was, but not anymore." He said firmly. "Agent Romanoff, you take on the Big Guy. He's currently in Calcutta, helping sick people. Don't make him mad; we need him to track the Tesseract. There's black vans waiting for you outside the building, they'll take you there. Oh, and don't worry, Agent. I've my men to cover your back in case anything happens."

"Understood, sir."

There's pip sound, and Fury and I know that mean Natasha had signed off.

"Agent Jackson, where are your current position?"

I glanced to the city below me. "Uhh.. Near Boston, Sir."

"Good. You're picking up Stark." He said without missing a beat.

"What?" I protested, "but shouldn't I get to pick Rogers? I was closer to him!"

"Just do your job, Agent Jackson." He said casually. But beneath his natural voice, I can detect amusement.

Alright, so he do this in purpose. Great.

I sigh in defeat, "aye aye, captain." Before he can respond, I push the off button. I place a light nudge to the pilot, and as he turned to me and asked what do I wanted, I told him that we need to turned to Stark Tower.

Let's get this over with. I have a billionaire to take care of.

Finished! It was pretty long, and.. wow, I don't even hurt my fingers! Yay! And I noticed I'd used the word 'should' often in this chapter.

I hope you like it as much as I do.
