A Rainy Afternoon (Gray x Juvia)

 Juvia P.O.V.

            As I opened my eyes the bright sun flooded my vision and hugged me with its warmth.  I slowly got up and got myself ready to head to Fairy Tail. I quickly showered then put on one of my favourite blue dresses with a slit on the left side to show off my guild mark and my matching hat with a yellow flower clip (Outfit during the final challenge of the Grand Magic Games)

            I quickly gave my Gray doll a kiss on the cheek then walked out of my room and into the hallways of Fairy Hills. As I stepped out I noticed Wendy and Carla in the hall heading out of the building too. “Ohayo Wendy! Carla!”

            “Oh, ohayo Juvia-san” Wendy and Carla said giving me a kind smile.

            “How does Juvia look? Do you think Gray-sama would like what Juvia's wearing?’’ I asked her. I obviously wanted to look good in front of him so I needed to make sure I looked nice!

“Don’t worry Juvia-san, you look beautiful.” She gave me another really kind smile that made me blush.

            “Thank you so much Wendy!” I said smiling to her.

            We began to walk through the halls of Fairy Hills and into the main lobby.

             “So Wendy, are you planning on doing anything at the guild today?” I asked her. “Well… I-I was planning on hanging out with Romeo-kun today…” Wendy said with a slight blush.

             “Jeez child, you’re too young to be thinking of a boy in that way! Stop blushing!” Carla said crossing her arms. “Carlaaaa!!” Wendy said suddenly flustered.

              I began to laugh incredibly hard at the sight of such a close friendship. Also because of the fact that little innocent Wendy had a crush on someone. It was just so cute. Who knows, maybe one day Wendy and Romeo could have a relationship like Gray-sama and I… Sigh…

              “Well, why don’t we head to Fairy Tail now Wendy, Carla.” “Hai!” Wendy replied as Carla just nodded her head.

Gray P.O.V.

            “God damn it Flamebrain! I’m trying to eat here!” I yelled at Natsu as I tried eating my breakfast that Mira made for me at the guild, eggs and bacon with some orange juice. “You wanna pick a fight with me ice princess?!” Natsu replied with flames coming out of his mouth. As loud as usual here at the guild.

            “Not in the mood, just let me eat in peace.” I continued to eat and Natsu started to rant to Lucy about how annoying I am. Typical. As I finished my breakfast I decided I’d take a walk around Magnolia today since I didn’t feel like doing any jobs today. “Gray,” I turned around to Mira cleaning dishes. “Your clothes.” DAMN IT NOT AGAIN!

            I ran to the table where I was eating and grabbed my clothing. I put on my shirt and my pants then headed out the guild with the sound of Natsu’s obnoxious laughing behind me. As I stepped out the door the bright, big, sun greeted me. “Wow, it’s a really nice day today.” I said to myself.

            I began to wonder around the familiar streets of Magnolia. It was as busy as ever with people eating, shopping, or walking around like I was. It was also really busy because the annual Fantasia Parade was coming up and many people from all over Fiore come to see it.

             After about 10 minutes of walking around, I decided to grab a bite to eat at my favourite dessert place for a some shaved ice. It was a nice day after all. As I walked in I saw Fairy Tail's best requip mage, Erza. She had just finished ordering a strawberry cake. I guess I'll join her.

               I walked up to where she was sitting and greeted her. "Sup Erza?" She looked up at me and gave me a smile. "Oh, hey Gray."

               I gestured to the seat in front of her, "Mind if I join you?" She put her hand out at the chair. "Of course, sit down." I pulled out the seat and sat in front of her. She put her elbows on the table then rested her head on her hands.

                "So what's up Gray? No jobs for today?" I looked up then answered. "Nah, I thought I'd take a day off today. Especially since it's really nice." She nodded then we sat there for a couple of minutes in awkward silence.

                  The waitress that took Erza's order came to our table and gave Erza her strawberry cake. "That's one strawberry cake for you miss," she turned her attention from Erza to me. "Is there anything you'd like mister?" I nodded. "I'll just have your classic shaved ice." She nodded then jotted it down on her notepad. "Hai! Coming right up." She left and Erza and I were left at a awkward silence again.

                  "So Gray... Have you given Juvia a straightforward answer?" I looked up stunned at the sudden question. Erza was just eating her cake nonchalantly as if the question wasn't that serious. Even though it was to her.

                 Ever since I had that conversation with Erza about Juvia on one of the nights of the Grand Magic Games all I could think about was what that answer would be. I still don't know how I feel about her.

                  I sighed and shook my head. "No, I haven't yet." Erza shook her head in disappointment. "You know how much she cares about you Gray, if you don't answer her soon she could lose interest. I mean its obvious that some other guy has a thing for her."

                 As soon as she said that I felt pissed because I knew exactly who she was talking about. Lyon. "Tch" I crossed my arms around my chest. "Look Gray, the more you wait, the more you hurt her. I know you don't want that." She was right, I didn't.

                 I actually cared about Juvia alot. Whenever she needed me I tried my hardest to be there; to help her. She's an amazing girl in all honesty, she's sweet, loyal, and an amazing water mage. And I admit it, she's quite beautiful. But does that mean I have feelings for her? Or is she just a really good friend? I still don't know.

                The waitress came with my order and I lost my train of thought. She placed my bowl of shaved ice in front of me. "Thank you very much." She looked at me and smiled. "No problem." Then she went to another table.

                I looked back at Erza. "I just don't know Erza. I mean, I care about Juvia alot but I don't know if I love her back." Erza sighed then ate more of her cake. "Well, just keep thinking about it. Let's continue eating shall we? If I finish before you do, you have to buy me another cake!"

                 I laughed then looked her in the eye. "You're on Titania!" I took a bunch of bites of my shaved ice and before I knew it Erza pushed her plate towards me. I looked up at a grinning Erza. "Done." I started laughing uncontrollably.

Juvia P.O.V.

                 When I got to the guild and asked where Mira where Gray was, she said that he decided to take a day off and walk around Magnolia so I decided to try and find him. Maybe we could go on a date! I walked around for 15 minutes with no luck. Oh! Maybe he's at his favourite desert shop for some shaved ice! Maybe we could even share~ (Que Juvia fantasy XD)

                  When I got there, I looked through the window to see if he was in there. I scanned the whole shop then stopped at a table where a red-headed requip mage sat with a very happy Gray. They were talking and laughing like it were a date. My eyes began to fill with tears.

                  Without even realizing it I started running back to Fairy Hills with wet eyes and a broken heart. I thought that Gray was actually starting to see me as more then a friend but I guess I was wrong. He'd rather spend his day off with Erza, not me. Upon thinking that, it started to rain. It's been a while since I felt so sad and made it rain.
