I woke up to someone shaking me. I groaned and pushed the person's hand away from me. I opened my eyes and saw a homeless woman in front of me. "Yes?" I asked her. "Do you have any change?" she asked holding her hands out. I looked in my bag and found 30 dollars and decided to give her 8 dollars. I gave the money to her and she repeatedly thanked me. Yet again today I had school, and I missed 1st and 2nd period. I slowly gathered my things and went to school. I did the same routine as yesterday and went to class. I opened the door and heads turned my way.

"Ms.Topaz may I ask why you're late today again?" "I woke up late on the bench and had to change in the bathroom because I have no where to stay happy?" I said. The teacher looked at me sadly and said "well I'm sorry you can sit next to the empty seat beside Cheryl. I widened my eyes and saw Cheryl shooting daggers at me with her eyes. I sighed and dragged my feet to the back of the classroom. I sat down next to Cheryl, and she said Don't even talk to me you cheater". I just nodded and took out all my things to pay attention to the lesson.

The bell rang and I slowly packed all my things and made my way to the door. On my way out someone tripped me and I fell. I just got up and started going to my next class. I was walking alone in the hallway because I was going very slowly. "Hey Topaz". I looked behind me and saw the group from yesterday and Betty. I started running but they caught up to me. They pinned me against the locker, and Betty came up to my face and said "You hurt my cousin so it's fair that I get to hurt you too". I said "You know I didn't want that to happen". She shook her head and said "If you talk back to me you get beat." She nodded her head towards me and the group started kicking and punching me.

"Stop, now I want you to stay away from Cheryl don't look at her don't talk to her don't even go anywhere near her or else you'll see us again. You're nothing but a whore, who loves being slutty even when you have a girlfriend." With that being said she walked away and they continued the beating again. I slid down against the lockers and started crying. Maybe I should just kill myself, I mean no one cares about me. My family died and Cheryl was the only thing I had.

I got up hissing as I moved and walked to my next class. Everyone looked at me and gasped including the teacher. I felt kinda dizzy and my knees buckled . The teacher caught me and asked "Who can carry her to the nurse's office". No one raised their hand and I slowly got back up and said "I'm fine it's no use after today you won't have to worry about me anymore". The teacher looked at me weirdly, but I just walked to and empty seat. I put my head down on the table and heard someone cough. I looked up to see Betty and she nodded her head to my left. I looked and saw Cheryl. I quickly got up and asked a boy if he could move. He responded with "Get away from me bitch".

I sighed and went and sat in the back corner on the floor. I started banging my head against the wall and the teacher told me to stop. I stopped and digged through my bag to find a sharpener. I broke the sharpener and took the blade out. I didn't really care if anyone realized so I started cutting my arm starting from my wrists to my shoulder. I did it over and over again until I kid shouted at the teacher "Toni's cutting herself!" The teacher gasped and ran towards me. He tried taking the blade away from me but I pushed him and yelled "Let me die!! It's not like I have a purpose here!I'm just the slutty whore who cheated on Cheryl so I might as well kill myself!!!"

I looked behind the teacher and saw Cheryl crying. I took pills out my bag that I used to take for my depression months ago. Everyone looked shocked cause they knew what I was doing. I ran outside into the hallway and quickly put all the pills in my mouth and swallowed them just like that. My head started pounding and the last thing I saw was the whole class covering their mouths and crying before everything went black.
