1. I hate to say I love the way your palms are rough. It show that no matter what you always kept your palms flat on the ground. And you still made it through, despite all the waves ceasing from crashing on top of your head, the twisters yanking and jerking you every direction.
Through every natural disaster you made it through.
2. You can't trick me. I know you only have a tongue like a sword to make up for the fact that you have soft skin.
3. My favorite memory of you is playing tag at your dad's house. Filled with old things he's collected for years. We ran down dusty halls on floors that creaked, they sang our names and we never knew until now. I learned that day being a grown up can't stop you from running like little kids.
4. I never told you, but I over heard you tell someone you'd rearrange your insides just do we could fit together better.
5. Holding your hand made my heart beat at a million beats per second.
6. You'd dance with me in public to the music in my head, you never once hesitated to take me hand. If I was insane, I would be comforted in the fact you would be insane with me.
7. You asked me about the boys in my poetry. I told you they were nothing more than memories of times I never really wanted to let go. You asked me if I'd ever write about you and honestly I never thought I would have to.
8. You were alway the best medicine for my anxiety.
9. Holding on to what we had doesn't hurt as much as knowing they meant nothing to you
10. Hating you secretly eats away at something in my soul. Something I will never get back.
11. Knowing this list was suppose to be about how much I hate you and ended up reminding me of why I loved you in the first place. That makes me hate you even more.
12. Because let's be honest. Boys like you can't love a sad girl like me.
