Proms.
They're not something I enjoy.I didn't want to go there. I wanted to spend the day at home and just binge watch anime.
Have people got nothing better to do than that?
I would spend my free time as a high school kid rather with things I usually enjoy, not socializing.I yawned and sat down on the couch. Mom isn't going to be home until 11 p.m, so I can do what I want. I was too lazy to get my laptop from my room now, so I turned the TV on.
There were some news about a killer in my neighbourhood. I was a very pessimistic person, so I just thought: "I'm not doing anything with my life, so why should I be afraid?"
I heard my phone ringing. I groaned and took it out of my back pocket.
"Hey, dudette!"
"What do you want, Alfred?", I asked, quite irritated.
"I wanted to ask you if you come to the ball with me?"
"...I don't want too. And you know that."Alfred was my best friend in highschool. We usually hang around at my or his place and play video games.
"Pleaaaaaase, dudette!"
Alfred uses his annoying pleading voice. How ineffective.
"No."
"Pleaaaase!"
"What do you not understand? The 'N' or the 'O'?"
"Please (y/n)!"
"..." As you can see, I wasn't someone who was very social.
'He won't stop begging until I give in...' I thought. After a few moments of thinking, I agreed.
"Fine. But I don't want to stay for long."
"You're the best, dudette!"
"Screw you."
He eventually hung up.And I started regretting it.
I hate dresses (sorry if you like them), but since it's a prom, I'll have to dress up properly.
I ran upstairs to my room and opened my closet. I caught a glimpse of (f/c) and took the piece of fabric out. It looks pretty nice, It's not too short and not too long, it was (how you imagine your dress).
Well, that leaves the shoes.
I can't show up in sneakers (even though I want to), so I looked around.
"Godammit, how hard can it be to pick clothes?", I asked myself.Since I had no other ideas, I sneaked into my mother's room. 'She won't be mad if I borrow a pair of flats...'
~little time skip~
After changing my clothes, I looked at the mirror. I didn't do anything great. I just had (h/l) (h/c) hair, (e/c) orbs, a (f/c) dress and matching shoes and I was too lazy to put make-up on/didn't need make-up (depends on if you're just lazy or you never wear make-up).
The school wasn't far from my place. It was a 10-minute-walk and I didn't need that hamburger-idiot-friend to pick me up.
I enjoyed the little walk. The cool evening breeze was very nice, and it was quite relaxing.I arrived, and Alfred was already waiting for me.
"Hey! You look gorgeous!"
I rolled my eyes.
"Thank you. Now let's go."
"Wait! You have to take this."
He handed me a mask.
I just let out a small "tsk" and put the mask on my face.We entered the prepared ball room. It was very lively.
I wonder why everyone wants to go to the prom. Many people would just get wasted, other idiots just want to get a girl/boy or maybe dance with someone."I'm going to look for Arthur, okay?", Alfred said.
"Fine, whatever", I responded.I headed for a table at the edge of the room. "Why did I even come here", I muttered.
"You look very stunning, bella~", someone said.
"Uh, thanks?" I didn't notice there was someone else at the table. "I didn't want to come here, I was basically dragged here."
"Ah, me too~" I looked at him. I couldn't see much of him, because it was quite dark. As expected, he wore a mask, but he looked very familiar. But... I couldn't recognize him.
He rose from his seat and extended his hand. "May I have this dance?", he asked."Wait, who are you? And I don't dance."
"This is a masked ball, bella~ If I told you, hiding our faces would be pointless~"
"True. But I'm still not getting up."He chuckled, then dragged me to the dance floor while I sent death threats his way. We then started to dance, much to my dismay (what else would you expect?).
I've never enjoyed dancing that much. Although, something about the guy dancing with me made my heart flutter.
I looked at him, trying to find out who he was.
Well, he was Italian, first of all.
Leaves all of the Vargas. Feliciano, Lovino, Luciano and Flavio.
Then he had brown hair, which would mean he's not Flavio.
And also, he isn't that cheery, which also means he isn't Feliciano.
Judging from his eye color, it's definetly Luciano - of course."You're not too bad, b-"
"Okay, you can stop now, Luciano. I feel uncomfortable whenever people flirt with me, alright?" I sighed. "Just (y/n), please."
He was taken aback by my reaction, but then he smirked.
"Alright, (y/n)."
Out of the corner of my eye I spotted Alfred talking to Arthur and looked at him with a pleading expression, trying to say 'Get me outta here'.Of course Alfred, being the oblivious piece of shit he is, didn't notice.
I frowned.
"I'm sorry, I have to go."
I gave him a quick peck on the cheek, hoping to leave him stunned enough to go and ran to Alfred."Woah, dudette. What was that?", he asked. Alfred had that childish grin on his face.
It made me scowl.
"None of your business", I hissed.~timeskip brought you by lazy author-san~
Finally, back at home!
Well, I was a bit disappointed.
I wanted to dance with him again.
And I didn't understand why.I kicked my shoes off and walked towards the couch.
Then, I heard something opening. My front door.
'Shit...'
Someone stood behind me and was holding something in my face.Eventually, I passed out.
