Gender Reveal and Updates on The Cancer

Now I was 6 months pregnant and I was still in pain. As the child grew, it made the pain much more worse than before. When I woke up this morning, I felt as if I could breathe at all. The pain was too strong. Today I was getting updates on it and I was getting the gender of the child. I got an awful feeling that the news wasn't going to be good because I haven't recovered at all...I've had this cancer for about 6 months now which was just too devastating. 

The doctor arrived and Shawn and Lilly stood with me. The doctor did a quick x-ray test and I could see the child in my stomach. I started to smile a bit when i saw it in there.

Doctor: "You will be having a baby boy..."

I nodded my head.

Shawn: "So how are the updates?"

Doctor: "The updates are not good."

Shawn: "The cancer is getting worse..."

Doctor: "Yea it is..how often has she been feeling pain?"

Shawn: "For a long time..."

Doctor: "Has she been eating?"

Shawn: "Yes..I've tried to make her but she's eating a little.."

Doctor: "If the cancer doesn't improve in the next 5 months, then she's gonna die."

When the doctor said I was gonna die, I started feel even more upset than I was before and I could see in Shawn's eyes that he was more than upset. I felt like I wanted to cry but I held back my tears. 

Shawn: "How's the baby?"

Doctor: "The baby's good.."

Shawn: ....

Doctor: "Keep Alessia comfortable and keep praying for her."

Shawn: "We will."

The doctor left. When the doctor left, I started to cry. Shawn started to cry too and a tear fell from Lilly's eyes.

Shawn and Lilly sat right beside me. Shawn gave me a hug and I gave him a hug back. I couldn't believe had only 5 months to survive. I was really scared a lot. An hour later, I wasn't crying anymore but was still upset. 

Shawn: "Any names for ur brother yet, Lilly?"

Lilly: "I was thinking...Oscar."

Shawn: "That's nice...what do u think, Alessia?"

Alessia: "It's nice..."

Shawn: "So Oscar then?"

I nodded.

Shawn: "Okay."

Shawn looked at me and saw how pale I looked. I was sweating a lot and I was suffering with pain so much. I felt like I was loosing energy and breath too. I was having a headache with it too. I felt so tired. Tears started to fill Shawn's eyes when he saw me like that. I touched his face lightly to wipe off the tears.

Alessia: "Shawn....don't cry...."

Shawn: "Why wouldn't I? You're suffering..."

Alessia: "We have to be strong....it's gonna be okay..."

Shawn: "If I lose you, I'm gonna kill myself like i'm not even kidding..."

Alessia: "Don't...don't say that...i'm gonna be fine...even when I don't, i'll still be here with you guys..."

Lilly started to cry too.

Lilly: "Don't leave us, mom..."

Alessia: "You all are gonna make me cry now....."

Lilly: (sobs) "Sorry..."

Alessia: "Come here..."

Lilly went up to me and gave me a hug and I relaxed my head on Shawn and he held onto my hand.
