"I can't ever catch a break," I breathed walking alongside Tryce. "It's like when something good happens, bad shit makes it's way into my life,"

"Bad shits only temporary though baby," he held onto my hand as we took a stroll around the neighborhood.

It was going on three o'clock and my parents were still in surgery. My aunt coming and killing my mood, Carmen being there killed my energy, and all this while my mother risks her life to save my daddy.

I needed a breather, and Tryce was always like a breath of fresh air. The cool breeze, the trees brushing together, and the stars were brighter than I'd ever seen them.

This was all I ever needed in this life of sin. He was so perfect to me and made all of my wrongs right and killed all of the negative energy that made its way into my life.

"It feels like it lasts a lifetime though. I just wanna be able to finally be happy with my life and every time I get excited about something I ju-,"

He always knew how to shut me up. Those plump, soft, and pink lips mushed up against mine. Everything moved fast, my feet went from being on the ground to flying in the air. He tossed me onto his shoulder with no hesitation.

"Oh my God," I screeched out trying to catch my breath as my heartbeat tripled.

My ass cheek stung as his hands slapped against it. I could hear him chuckle as he attempted to put me down making us both fall to the ground. My lungs couldn't bare all the laughter but it was needed.
