"Dream, you look amazing tonight. Who's your date?" The tan skinned woman, with big teeth, and thin dark brown hair shoved the mic towards my face.

"Thank you and this isn't my date, this is my boyfriend," I corrected her and locked hands with Tryce.

"Oh," she continued to wear that frightening smile. "Your ex groupmate is also here, do you think you two will cause any conflict tonight?"

"I don't know what her being here has to do with me. I came here to support a friend. I didn't come here for you to antagonize me about something that isn't relevant to me or the movie,"

"Well she's had a choice of words for you," the woman clicked her tongue.

"She's still speaking on me? Good for her," I shrugged trying to keep everything professional like always.

"Well, it was nice talking to you. Enjoy yourself tonight,"

"Uh huh," I pushed my tongue against my cheek and proceeded to walk into the entrance.

Those interviewers always tried to put someone out of their character. But I knew how to play my role and why would anybody invite Carmen to a movie premiere? Maybe Jon was invited and she tagged along.

She wanted to thank me for sticking up for her yet she's talking about me. Shorty is confused and I hope I don't see her inside.

I need her negative and nasty ass energy away from me.

She disgusts me.

"Hollywood got the worst reporters," Tryce smacked his lips. "You did good though, she was finna piss me off,"

"You know I can't break character even if I wanted to. It's too early in my career to get black balled. They cut celebrities off for saying the wrong shit and  praise some for doing dumb shit but I can't move wrong," I sighed and walked into the venue with him on my side.

"Damn, took you niggas long enough," Jakari pulled me into a hug. "You look nice X,"

"Thank you," I sighed and moved the end of my dress around.
