Sorry for not posting on Thursday. I'm still visiting my College of choice and it's exhausting. Hopefully you enjoy this chapter. Thanks for waiting!💜

"Oh My God it's about to start. Do I look okay? Is my hair a mess? It's a mess, right??"

Yoongi was sitting in his seat anxiously. Hoseok was trying to calm him down but it really wasn't working. This was the night that they'd find out if Yoongi had won the award for Composer/Lyricist of the Year. Namjoon was with him, along with his boyfriend. Neither of them had met Jin before that night but they got along instantly. Hoseok had brought Jimin and Jungkook who were still a bit awkward around each other. Yoongi brought his friend Taehyung who everyone was excited to meet. Namjoon and Jin kept telling him that he needed to go into modeling or singing, but he never gave an answer. It also seemed like Jungkook's eyes wouldn't leave the man's direction. His mouth hung open and his eyes were slightly wide.

"Kitten, you need to calm down. I can't go on stage with you but I know you'll be great, okay?" He said as he kissed Yoongi's cheek.

"Okay...Thanks babe."

"No problem."

A quietness fell upon the room as the awards started. Yoongi fidgeted when the started to announce the award.

"And this years Composer/Lyricist of the Year is- Min Yoongi."

"Cheers!" All seven of them said in unison as they toasted to Yoongi.

"Wow! I can't believe you won! You really deserved it Yoongi." Jin said as he patted Yoongi on the back.

Yoongi blushed as he looked down to his lap. He wasn't used to getting this many compliments but he felt proud of himself for actually getting through the ceremony. He felt a hand intertwine with his and realized it was Hoseok. He smiled and squeezed his hand. Yoongi looked across the table to see Taehyung and Jungkook practically flirting with each other. He thought everything was fine until he noticed Jimin and his face grew sour.

Jimin was looking down in his lap with a sad expression as his eyes shifted to Taehyung and Jungkook every now and then. Yoongi leaned over to get Hoseok's attention and whispered in his ear.

"Hoseok, I don't know what has happened between Jimin and Jungkook but can you check up on him? He doesn't look so good and this would give him time to cool down after holding his feelings in."

Hoseok looked over at Jimin and nodded.

"Hey guys, Jimin and I really need to use the restroom so we'll be right back." He said as he got up.

Jimin looked at Hoseok in confusion, but once they made eye contact, he got up as well.

"I'll be back as soon as I can, okay babe?" Hoseok whispered into his ear while he kissed his cheek.

Yoongi nodded and Hoseok led Jimin to what seemed to be the bathrooms.

Hoseok actually led Jimin outside and looked to see if anyone was watching them. He stopped at a bench outside the restaurant and sat down, gesturing for Jimin to sit as well. Jimin sat down hesitantly. It was completely silent except for the cicadas buzzing a fair distance away.

"Jimin," Hoseok said as he spread his arms.
"It's okay now."

Then, the tears started. Gentle streams flowed down his cheeks as he hugged, or practically fell into Hoseok. He cried for a while before finally calming down enough to talk a bit in between sniffs.

"He doesn't like me." He managed to get out.
"I tried so hard but he only sees me as a friend or dance partner! This has happened so many times! Why can I never have my happily ever after?!"

"Jimin, you need to calm down." Hoseok said while patting his head.
"Maybe Jungkook just wasn't the right one. I'm sure you'll get to a point where you meet your prince or princess and you'll be so happy you didn't waste your time on someone like him. You are amazing and I can't wait till you see that. I also can't wait for you to find someone who'll love you just as much, if not more, as you do them." Hoseok smiled.

"It's easy for you to say, you have Yoongi. You've been pining after him for months now and you finally got him. I'm never gonna find someone like that." Jimin said as he pouted.

"Before I met him, I was thinking the same things you are. I thought that I'd never find anyone to make me actually happy. But then, he came into the shop. I thought he was strange at first. He wore all black in the summer!"
Hoseok chuckled as he remembered the first few times Yoongi came into the shop.
"Even though it might feel like the worst, stick it out. It'll be worth it in the long run. The world doesn't end, it just feels like it does. Keep moving forward until you reach your happiness, okay?"

Hoseok patted Jimin's back as he nodded and adjusted himself.

"Great! Now, I wanna get back inside to see my happiness! Let's go!"

The dinner went great after that. They all chatted and told stories about companies and jobs. Yoongi and Hoseok got the most questions in the relationship area. They told about their first date and the interactions they'd shared at the coffee shop. They also talked about the night that Hoseok had asked Yoongi to be his boyfriend.

"Man, that felt like yesterday! I can't believe it's almost been nine months since then." Yoongi said in disbelief.

"Not much has happened since then, right?" Namjoon asked both of them.

They both shook their heads.

"We had a couple dates, a couple of weird adventures at the store and maybe a few parties, but that's about it. We've both been working a lot so it felt like the days blurred together the days we didn't see each other."

"You guys got so lucky to meet each other. Like, how did you guys get the most cliché love story? You guys could probably turn your life into a book!" Jin said with amazement as he handled the check.

"Yeah, sure."

Yoongi and Hoseok both looked at each other and laughed.

As all seven of them left the restaurant, Yoongi walked out behind Jin. He suddenly stopped and turned to face Yoongi.

"What's going on Jin?" Yoongi asked.

"Alright, I'll get to the point as fast as possible. There was a question I wanted to ask you two about your relationship but felt it might be inappropriate at the dinner table." Jin said.

'Oh no. What is it this time?'

"I'll get right to it. Have you guys ever...done it?" He asked.

Yoongi looked at him in confusion.

"What do you mean by 'it'."

"Oh my God." He said, rolling his eyes.
"Have you two had sex with each other yet?"

Yoongi flushed.

"I-uhhh-ummm...N-N-No....."

"Thought so. But anyways, tonight could be your chance! You've been together for almost a year now and you both are free tomorrow." Jin said as he nudged Yoongi's shoulder.

"I kinda was....preparing to actually ask him about that tonight..." Yoongi said with his hand over his face.
"If you think now is a good time, then I'll do it. Thanks Jin."

"No problem. Now, go get your man!"

Yoongi walked with Hoseok back to their respective apartments. Yoongi was nervous the entire walk. When it came time to split ways, Yoongi grabbed Hoseok's hand.

"Can I sleep over? We're both off tomorrow." Yoongi asked hesitantly.

Hoseok looked at him and smiled

"At this point we should just move in together." He said as he laughed.

Yoongi looked down at his feet with embarrassment.

"Would you really want to...?"He said shyly.

"Do you want to?" Hoseok asked him.

Yoongi slightly nodded and Hoseok pulled him into a hug.

"We can talk more when we get back, okay?"

"Okay."
