Yoongi's Deficiency

Yoongi and Hoseok waited inside the doctors office in silence. Yoongi felt awful because of what he did to Hoseok. Not only did he touch another man, but he touched him without consent while unconscious.

"Hoseok, I'm really sorry. I don't know what came over me. If you don't want, I won't ever touch you again." Yoongi said with a guilt ridden face.

"Hyung, I don't mind you touching me as long as you consider my feelings. To be honest, I was happy you were touching me, but I didn't like how you ignored my discomfort and the fact that you were unconscious. If you want that...please, just ask. If it's you, I really don't mind."

Yoongi felt his heart sting as the door finally opened and the doctor sat down.

"Hi Hoseok!" The girl said.

"Hi Lana. So, what's going on with Yoongi?" Hoseok asked as he got straight to the point.

"So, here's the deal." She said while spinning around in her wheelie chair while looking at her clipboard.
"Yoongi is experiencing some effects of his amnesia. His old self is trying to fight for dominance over his current self. It's like having two souls in one body. It just never works. Eventually, one will override the other."

She looked up and stared at the two boys who sat awkwardly together.

"Let me guess, Yoongi has already done something he shouldn't have when he went out of control."

Hoseok's and Yoongi's eyes shifted. Hoseok was the one to speak.

"He...um....He kissed me out of nowhere are started to t-touch me without my consent...After he 'woke up', he felt awful for what he did." Hoseok said while staring down, never lifting his gaze once.

She looked over to Yoongi who was scared and shaking.

"Yeah...I can tell. Yoongi, your currently fighting for dominance with your other self. You have a choice. To let your current self give in and regain your memories, or override your past self send stay the way you are. The choice is yours." She said and Hoseok's eyes widened.

'What if he wanted to stay like this? What if he never wants to remember how much we loved each other? What if...what if he leaves me?!'

"I want to override my current self. I want my memories back. I want to know why I have these urges and why their towards Hoseok. I don't want to keep hurting him." Yoongi said as he smiled at Hoseok.

"Oh, well, I was just getting to that actually." She said and the two boys turned in confusion.
"Well, the urges are things that your past self has had a lacking of. Most times it's small things."

"Like for example," Hoseok cut in.
"Have you recently wanted to drink a Black Americano?"

Yoongi's eyes widened.
"How did you know that?"

"I work at a coffee shop. That's actually where we met." Hoseok said as he tried to conceal his blush.

"-But," Lana continued.
"If you were going after Hoseok..." She paused to think for a second, then smiled.
"The other you must have a Hoseok deficiency! That neediness is most likely what's blocking your memories from returning." She said as Yoongi looked at her in awe. His mouth and eyes were wide open.

'How is she so smart?! She knew exactly what's going on!'

"So! I suggest that a good way to get his memories back is to cause so much emotion in one sitting that his old ones 'break the dam' if you will." She said with a smile.
"Now...what IS an emotional act that two people can do together? Hm...I just can't put my finger on it." She sarcastically with a sly grin.
