jungkook woke up to your fingers carding through his long hair, your calm heartbeat sounding underneath his cheek. he heard some noises by his head, probably your phone, and your soft laugh at whatever it was. he smiled at the gentle action, already feeling himself falling back asleep.
you noticed his fluttering eyes when you glanced down at him, and smiled softly, cooing at how pretty he looked. "morning~, wait baby, don't go back to sleep,"
he whined softy, shuffling on top of you to get higher and place his head in your neck. his light breath tickled and you squirmed, getting him more alert. jungkook groaned and flipped off of you to burrow into the thick duvet, trying to chase the remnants of his dream.
"jungkook~! are you forgetting what day it is today?" you teased, moving closer to the fluff of black hair.
your boyfriend raised his head, the cutest pout on his lips. one glance at your shining eyes and he gasped, lips parting to make a grin matching yours.
"happy birthday, bunny." placing your hand on his neck, you moved to kiss him.
slowly, you moved back, and pressed your lips to his head before getting out of bed. you stretched, finally able to work out the cricks in your back after being confined under jungkook since you woke up an hour ago. "come on, let's go eat."
a sleepy, yet happy jungkook, trailed after you, stumbling slightly with his eyes closed. he followed you all the way to the fridge, where you started pulling out the things you needed for breakfast, wrapping his arms around you from behind and placing his head on your back.
you found the action cute, and would've been more than happy to let him attach himself to you, but it was making moving very difficult. "baby, can you let go of me, please? i need to be able to cook so we don't starve all day."
you felt him huff another whine, shaking his head slightly. "let's go out."
