How can we find words to someone who is so good with them?

Kind heart. Beautiful soul. Sweet person. Intelligent and with a awesome taste for music. (And men. And style.)
I told you it wouldn't be easy.
The words aren't enough, because she's bigger than that.
She uses words, but what she makes transcends this.

I've met Birdie through one of my favorite authors: the amazing and lovely Ruby.

She told me several times to read Birdie's stories. I've tried to read Kismet but I thought it wasn't my thing. But I truly believe that sometimes we aren't ready to read some books, because we need to build a connection with them, and so I decided do try another time. Then Ruby told me to try Harry Tales and when I found Harry and Bunny and we instantly matched. I couldn't thank Ruby enough for it.

I'm not a native English speaker, so I must admit that Birdie's stories are quite challenging for me. But I love it! I've learned so much by reading her books that any teacher would be proud of me!

Also, I've always dreamed about living in the 60's and 70's and she make my dream came true.
And honestly I've never thought that I'd read a book like Kismet. But I've read it and I was completely in shock with how much I loved it.

But it's more than that.

She gave me a fresh perspective about human behavior, relationships and human connection in general. And the best part is being able to discuss all of that and many other things with her. I wish we lived in the same country so we could sit and chat for hours. About life, Harry, music, books, relationships, love and so much other stuff :) She's such a sweet person, so open minded and willing to debate about any topic. I always have a good time when we chat! I think it's because she makes you feel truly understood.

But it's much more than that.

Art is one of the biggest passions of my life. And that's exactly how I'd describe her work. ART.
It's pure art that emerges from her words.
Words that have a smell.
Sentences with rhythm.
Characters that have a soul.
Scenes that look like paintings.
Dialogues that sound like poetry.

But it's not only that.

She presented me a whole new world. In fact, she presented several different worlds to all of us! Through her stories we can literally travel in time, and it's such a thrill that's difficult to describe. She gave us tickets to travel to the past and to the future, and even different realities. Wherever she takes you, I can guarantee you: it will be an unforgettable journey. Just go! You won't regret it.

I've visited so many places, listened to so many amazing songs, cried and laughed with so many lovely characters, learned so many things and discovered so many others. And all because of her. Her stories are so full. Of emotion, of sensations, of smells and textures. Full of details, and colors, and feelings. Full of life.

How she does that? And most important: how she does that so perfectly?

If I could guess, I'd say that everything she does is so amazing, because she does it with her HEART.
And because of that I know that sometimes it's not easy.
In fact can be really really hard.
But I told you once Birdie and I'll say it again: art can heal. Not only you, but all of us.

So Birdie, thank you!!
For being such an incredible person and for sharing your beautiful mind and heart with us!
We love you, and we are so grateful for all the magic and passion you bring to our lives!
