Maze x Eros - Gardening

(This one is oc x oc but maze belongs to milkfrumious and eros belongs to me, maze is the adopted daughter of Julian and damien and eros is the son of Star and Lucio uwu)

For once in his life Eros wasn't glued to his work, or sleeping in extremely late. Instead he was outside working on his secret garden. He hasn't told anyone else about it, since it was like his personal safe space that he didn't want anyone else in besides himself. He was working on planting some orchids, the sound of near by birds and the fountain calming him.

Maze was going around on a search for the dirty blonde, oddly enough not finding him hunched over his work like he usually is. She decided her best bet was to go outside and look for him, not really knowing why he would be out there since he claims to hate it. She went out to the gardens, trying to find her way around the maze, each bush wall that she passed having a different color on it. She stopped sometimes to stare at the flowers before remembering why she came out there and continued on her search. Once she got to the center of the maze she saw Eros in the middle of planting flowers, surprised that he would. she didn't make a sound at first before walking up quietly behind him, grabbing his shoulders quickly "Hi Babes!"

Eros jumped before he realized it was just his lover, but was still surprised to see her there in the first place "M-maze? What are you doing here?!" He tried to cover up what he was doing but it was already too late, She had saw everything, but was instantly very supportive "Eros you garden? Why didn't you tell me? I wanna help now!" Eros was shocked at the fact that she didn't judge him a first, debating if he did want to let her help or not "i-i uh...sure? If you really want to." Maze hugged him shortly after he gave his answer "Thank you!" She let go of him and looked around "now what should I do?"

Eros looked around at the place and noticed his daisies needed some watering "how about you water the daisies over there" he said before giving her a watering can and pointing over to where the daisies were. Maze took the can and made her way over to the daisies, while Eros was already  focused back on his orchids before he heard a loud thud that instantly made him turn his head.

Maze had only just tripped on a exposed root of a near by tree, she wasn't bleeding but it did hurt a lot. Eros took off his gloves and went over to maze, trying to help the small girl up "Mazey are you alright??? Are you bleeding??? Did you break a bone???-" he was overly worried but Maze only looked up at him while giggling "I'm fine Eros, don't worry". He started to calm down as he caressed her face, smiling at her "you need to be more careful ms.clumsy" he said before kissing  her forehead. For the rest of the time Eros had Maze just stay close and plant flowers with him, that way she wouldn't fall and give him a heart attack again.
