"Cha-chae-chaeyoung..." She looked at me with concern. "It-it's my fa-fault..." I can tell she's giving me one of those 'what-do-you-mean' faces. I took a deep breath.

"I'm that girl."

Chapter 7:

Chaeyoung's P.O.V~

"I'm that girl."

After Mina said that, I froze. My heart started shattering and aching. Tears started flowing through my eyes too. I'm angry at her but, I'm not angry also. I don't blame her. Why is she blaming herself? I'm hurt but, I can't get mad at Mina... Why?

I want to talk to her but I can't. I feel like I'll do something bad... My pride won't let me. I let go of Mina and head upstairs. I heard her crying even harder. I locked the room and started crying even harder. I hugged my knees.

'WHO CARES ABOUT MY PRIDE!? IT HURTS MORE SEEING MINA CRY!!! WHY DO I FEEL THIS WAY!?!?!?' I shouted at myself in my head. I'm so stupid! I wiped my tears, got up, and headed downstairs. I still hear her crying. I took a deep breath and started writing something on a piece of paper. I gave it to Mina and Mina hesitantly grabs it and starts reading it. It said,

'I'm gonna do something that I'm banned to do. I have to no matter what. Even if my pride says no, I won't listen to it because, I care about you. Now, let me do what I'm gonna do. Please, I hope it won't disappoint you.'

She wipes her tears and looks at me. Her eyes are shaking. I can tell she's scared that I might do something bad to her.

I took a deep breath.

"Mina, it's okay." Those are my first words in 5 years. Mina is shocked but her tears stopped flowing.

"I don't blame you. It's not your fault. Even though it hurts my heart, I don't blame you." Suddenly Mina hugs me. I stood there shocked but I hugged her back. "You finally spoke Chaeyoung.... After all these years, this past month. You finally spoke..." I can tell she's smiling. "The burden I feel is lifted off. I always remember that night, when I was there, seeing that car crash. I heard your last name but not your full name by the way." She hugged me tighter. "I'm glad my name was the first name you said." I smile.

"Mina.... There's something I need to tell you... I need to figure out this feeling now or never." Mina sat down and looked at me. "What is it?"

"I have this feeling in my heart. It beats fast when I'm with you, it aches when I see you cr-UGH!!!" I started holding my heart and breathing heavily. I guess what I'm saying is happening to me. "Are you okay Chae!?" Mina said. "I-I'm fine." the pain finally lifted. Thank god. "To continue, I get jealous whenever you hang out with others than me. I get butterflies in my stomach, metaphorically. You bring me happiness. I always think about you. Now tell me..." I go closer to her and hold her hands. "What am I feeling?" Mina smiles at me.

"It's called Love Chaeyoung." Love? What's that? "What's love?" Mina sighed. "You know, what is love? I don't know either Chaeyoung but, I'll try my best." I look at her to give her my full concern.

"Love is something you feel towards another person. Love is something you can't admit. Love is a feeling in your heart and it makes it beat fast, and it hurts seeing your lover crying. It hurts seeing them with someone else than you. You always think about them no matter where you are. Love is something that you don't choose. Love, chooses you."

Mina smiles at me. I smile back... "So, does that mean... I.. Love you?" Mina face turns incredibly red, "I guess Chaeyoung." she said looking down. Aw, she's blushing.

"But, I want to know more about my feelings. Know more about what love truly is. Can you help me?" I asked her. She smiles. "I will love to Chaeyoung." We both hugged each other and slept together today.

Today was the best day ever because I figured out what my feelings are, kinda but; I got to have a beautiful penguin help me out. But I must be careful not to speak. No matter what. Only towards Mina. For now...
