Chapter 27:

3rd P.O.V~

*FLASHBACK*

"FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!" Jeongyeon shouted out as she was bawling her eyes out and grabbing her hair, looking like she was crazy. But she wasn't. She isn't crazy. She's hurt. Do you know how it feels to be rejected to someone whom you finally accepted as someone you want, someone you love, someone who makes you feel loved, someone who makes you feel special?

'She's in a relationship. She loves Dahyun. Of course she's gonna reject you.' Jeongyeon's common sense spoke to her. Jeongyeon wiped her snot with her sleeve and snorted. "Yeah but..." Jeongyeon trailed off as she reminisce the memories of Nayeon and Dahyun having fun.

'See? They're happy with each other. Don't break their love, no matter how much it pains you. If she's happy, you're happy.' Her conscious spoke to her. "If she's happy.... I-I'm happy..." Jeongyeon said, trying to convince herself.

A Japanese girl with brown hair with bangs is crying in the corner of her bedroom, and you guessed it. She was just rejected from the person whom she loved. "I...... I hate this f-feeling..." Momo said between her cries.

Days have passed and Jeongyeon and Momo have gotten more gloomy. The funny thing is that they don't know they're crying over the same couple. Jeongyeon and Momo have seen each other gloomy but never guessed it would be because of DaYeon...

One day, Jeongyeon came over to Momo's house to check up on her, pushing her paining heart aside and wanting to care for her friend. Momo and Sana's apartment door rang and Sana opened the door only to see Jeongyeon.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" Sana asked Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon scanned Sana up and down. "Are you going out somewhere?" Jeongyeon asked her, avoiding the question Sana asked her earlier. "Oh, Tzuyu and I are going out." Sana said with a bright smile on her face. Sana stepped aside so Jeongyeon can enter their apartment.

"Okay, make yourself at home. There's snacks inside the cabinet in the kitchen and if you're hungry, the fridge has plenty of food. I always have to restock it because of Momo, but since Momo has been feeling down lately, I haven't really gone out to buy some groceries in a while." Sana said as she was staring at Momo's bedroom door. Before Jeongyeon could head to Momo's room, "Are you going to see Momo?" Sana asked Jeongyeon, stopping Jeongyeon from walking. Jeongyeon nodded her head. "Can you please stay with her today? I'll be sleeping at Tzuyu's house and I don't want Momo alone again." Sana explained to Jeongyeon. "Yeah, no problem." Jeongyeon showed Sana a small smile. "Thank you! Bye!" Sana said and waved goodbye to Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon did the same thing and then finally the door closed.

Jeongyeon headed to Momo's room and heard sniffling. Jeongyeon's smile dropped down into a frown hearing her friend crying. Jeongyeon slightly opened the door to see inside the room and saw Momo crying in the corner with her knees up and her arms covering face.

Jeongyeon slowly comes inside the room and closes the door quietly so Momo wouldn't know she's there. Jeongyeon tiptoed towards Momo and got on her knees. Momo felt like someone was in front of her so she took some deep breaths and looked up, thinking of seeing Sana, she saw Jeongyeon instead.

"What are you doing her-" Before Momo could finish, Jeongyeon hugs Momo tightly. "Shh.. Please don't talk yet... Cry. Cry all you want... I'm here for you Momo..." And just like that, Momo's tears started falling down once again but even harder. Being touched by Jeongyeon's words. Momo hugs Jeongyeon even tighter and cries in her shoulder.

And without them knowing, butterflies were swarming around in their stomachs.

After that day, Momo and Jeongyeon talked it out and found out that they both were rejected from the same couple. They laughed it off but they both know it still pains them. Everyday since then, Jeongyeon would come over and sleep with Momo since she felt like it was the only sense of comfort for her, besides her sister Tzuyu.

Days later, Momo and Jeongyeon were developing feelings for one another.

"I know it's hard for you to move on from Dahyun. It's hard for me to move on from Nayeon. But Momo, give me this chance to prove to you that you are the one I need, you are the one that I want to focus on. So please, in all my heart, will you be my girlfriend?" Jeongyeon said as she got on her knees in her father's restaurant. Momo's tears started falling. "YES!" Jeongyeon got up and smiled widely and Momo hugged her as tightly as she can. Ever since then, they have been dating.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

And now, even without Dahyun and Nayeon knowing, they've been thinking about the couple Jeongmo. They both wonder how that all came to happen when both of them were so depressed over them. Nayeon doesn't know she's been constantly missing Jeongyeon's warmth. Dahyun doesn't know she's been constantly missing Momo's jokes. Do they both even miss each other? Of course they do. They're dating. Nayeon loves Dahyun, and Dahyun loves Nayeon. It's simple. But is it really?

Nayeon and Dahyun's heart sting when they see the couple together but they think it's because they miss the old times with them. Is what they tell themselves. Will their relationship not work out anymore? That can't be... They've loved each other since High School. "Dahyun baby..." Nayeon said as she caressed Dahyun's waist, spooning her in bed. "Yeah?" Dahyun replied to Nayeon, turning her head to be facing her lover. "Do you..... Love me?" Nayeon said as she distance her body away from Dahyun. Dahyun removed Nayeon's arm around her waist and turned around to be facing Nayeon.

Dahyun cupped Nayeon's face. "Of course I love you. I have loved you since High School. No one can steal me away from you. I love you Im Nayeon." Dahyun said. Nayeon looked into Dahyun's ocean like-eyes and saw sincerity in them. Dahyun leaned in for a kiss and Nayeon reciprocated. They're lips touched and they felt that spark like they did back then when they had their first kiss and High School. Just like High School...
