"Wait, you're sleeping here?" I nod. She sighs. Does she not want me here? "Okay." she starts walking to her room. "Goodnight Chaeyoung." she smiles and goes back to walking. I smile from ear to ear because she didn't add the 'shii' at the end. Maybe she's considering me as her true friend now. I lay down and finally drift to sleep.

Chapter 3:

Mina's P.O.V~

I wake up because of my alarm. I turn it off and washed myself up and dressed up for school. I go downstairs and smell something delicious. I turn to the kitchen and see Chaeyoung cooking eggs and bacon. Omg, who would have known a cute tiny girl can cook really well? I JUST SAID CUTE... Well, she is.

We eat our breakfast and go walk to school. It's 7:25am, so we have 35 minutes to hang around. Chaeyoung takes my hand and we go to the rooftop. I bet she wants to rest her mind after what happened yesterday. I still have to thank her for saving me.

We reach the rooftop and I see her inhaling the air. She looks so artistic. I take this time to observe her. She has a mole on her chin, her dark brown eyes, and her beautiful dimple. Ha, she looks like simba from the lion king. Cute.

So, I've been thinking lately about the curse Chaeyoung haves. She can't say words or she'll hurt people. Maybe, if she says simple words like 'okay' or 'hi', she won't hurt anyone. Maybe I should tell her...

"Hey, Chaeyoung?" she turns around and looks at me. I can tell she giving me one of those 'what?' faces. "So, I've been thinking lately about you talking and everything and maybe I can hel-" Before I could finish, she put her index finger over my mouth to shut me up. She shook her head. She took out a sticky note and started writing something. She handed it over to me and it read,

'Don't tell me, it's not worth it. It probably won't work Mina-Unnie. Tbh, I'm scared to hear my voice. I feel like you'll be disappointed in me when you hear my voice... A voice is something soothing, something that'll show you who you are. And I haven't found that yet. Not now, but I hope in the future... :)'

I look up to her and smile. It's a sincere one. I open my arms to let her hug me. She accepts and hugs me tight. "Why would your voice disappoint me Chaeyoung? I already like the way you are now." She smiles and it reveals her dimples. OMG, so cute!

We stay on the rooftop a little longer until it's almost time for us to go to class.

We head downstairs and go to our respective classes. Of course, I'm a grade higher than Chaeyoung. She just has Calculus with me since she's smart, I guess. I walk into class and head over to my seat.

"Okay class! Today we have two new students, please introduce yourselves." the teacher announced. I look at the two new students. 'They're females.'

"Hi! My name is Hirai Momo. Majoring in Dance. Please take care of me." she bows. 'Her name sounds Japanese.' "Hi! My name is Minatozaki Sana, majoring in Dance too. Please take care of me." she bows. 'They both have Japanese names.'

"Thank you, please both of you sit next to Ms. Myoui over there in the corner." he points at me. Sigh. Why me? I rather sit with no one but I can't complain. They come over and greet me, I wave back and they sit in their respective seats.

*BELL RINGS*

Finally! Lunch! I get up and start packing and go head towards the rooftop because that's where me and Chaeyoung eat during Lunch. I was heading towards the door to exit but then a hand stopped me.
