Chapter 5: Family Troubles

"YOU BITCH!!!" I scream.

I start to make my way across the deck and push past pirates. Many of them move out of my way as they were fearful of the current expression on my face.

"Elizabeth!" I yell out and she moves to walk towards me. "How dare you! How dare you do that to Jack... to me!" I shout, and I draw my sword and she jumps back and looks at me like I'm a mad woman.

"Is this because I sent Jack to the Locker?" Elizabeth asks looking at me as if I'm a child.

"No Elizabeth... I understand that. He understands that. It's because you kissed him and then KILLED him!" I scream and move to hit her with my sword, but another blocks her. It's Barbossa.

"Not on my ship! Go to the quarters and calm down. That's an order!" Barbossa demands pushing me back.

I run into the Captain's Quarters and shut the door behind me and turn and pull a book off the bookshelf and threw it at the wall before breaking down into tears. My own sister kissed my... well my... my Jack, then killed him. I sit down and cry for a few moments before washing my face and change my clothes. I hear someone come in. I turn and see that it's Jack.

"Oh, Jack," I sigh in relief and walk up to him and throw my arms around him.

"Are you okay, love?" Jack asks while rubbing my back in a comforting manner.

"I am now that you're here," I say.

I look up at him and press my lips to his. Our kiss soon turns passionate. His hands then go to the hem of my shirt, but I push them back down and break the kiss.

"Not yet. Not while we're still in the Locker," I say.

"Oh, right. But I do remember you telling me that you were ready," he says with a smile.

"I know, it's just not the right time for this."

"Okay. I'll wait," he says with his signature wink and then turns to walk out the door with me following.

Jack walks up to Barbossa and stands next to him and they soon start shouting orders to the ship. Oh no. Just when I thought they were going to get along.

"Trim that sail!" Barbossa shouts.

"Trim that sail!" Jack repeats.

"Slack windward brace and sheet!"

"Slack windward brace and sheet!"

"Haul the pennant line!"

"Haul the pennant line!"

"What are you doing?" Barbossa asks Jack.

"What are you doing?" Jack asks Barbossa.

"No, what are you doing?"

"What are you doing?"

"No, what are you doing?"

"What are you doing? Captain gives orders on the ship."

"The captain of the ship is giving orders."

"My ship, makes me captain."

"They be my charts."

"That makes you... chartman."

"Oh, for heaven's sake. Will you both shut up!" I shout and they both look at me in surprise. "Can you at least put your differences aside and get along for once, okay?" I say with a lot of irritation and then walk away to stand at the front of the ship.

It's nighttime and Pintel and Ragetti are hanging out beside me looking out at the sea.
