I woke up the next morning to Jack smiling down at me.

"Good morning, love. I hope I didn't trigger any bad memories from last night's events," Jack says.

"Oh no. You didn't," I say giving him a smile remembering last night's events.

"That's good, cos I don't want to make it worse."

I sit up and look at him properly.

"No, Jack. Last night actually made it better."

"Really? Cos I was thinking that I did make it worse in a way."

"Okay Jack, stop it!" I take his face in my hands and look him straight in the eyes. "I'll tell you this Jack Sparrow. Last night was probably one of the best nights of my life. You didn't force me to do it like Beckett did. I wanted to make love with you because I love you. And plus, I didn't have any nightmares," I say seriously.

"That's all I wanted to hear," he says, and grabs me by the waist and kisses me passionately. We make love again, but only for a short time because we have a war to fight.

Jack and I got dressed and I fix my hair up into a bun. I step outside and go to stand next to Barbossa. He looks at me and gives me a look like he knew what Jack and I were doing. I give him a nervous smile in return. He then looks straight ahead.

There was a thick mist that lay ahead. A single ship then came into view and was sailing towards us.

"The enemy is here! Let's take them!" Marty shouts.

Cheering erupts around us, and everyone felt all riled up. I look at Jack, not buying that they only sent one ship. There had to be more. Out of the fog, a seemingly endless number of ships appear. The roar of excitement dies down quickly. Shock went through the pirates, looking at each other worriedly.

"[Squawks] Abandon ship. Abandon ship," Cotton's parrot says as it flies away.

Everyone turned to look at Jack with their hands on their weapons. Jack looked quite uncomfortable at the situation.

"Parley?" He suggests nervously.

Jack, me, Elizabeth, and Barbossa with Jack the monkey on his shoulder row to a small island and then walk down to meet Beckett, Jones, and Will. I notice Jones was standing in a bucket of water. A clever way around his inability to step on land.

I lock eyes with Will and give him a slight smile. I look at Jones and give him an emotionless expression. But once I finally lock eyes with Beckett, I give him a murderous expression. He smirks and winks at me in return. We're all now facing each other.

"Maria. It's been a long time, my love," Beckett says with a sly grin.

"Not long enough," I say coldly.

Barbossa gives him an evil glare and then in turn glares at Will.

"You be the cur that led these wolves to our door," he states.

"Don't blame Turner. He was merely the tool of your betrayal. If you wish to see its grand architect, look to your left," Beckett says.

Barbossa looks to Elizabeth, Elizabeth to me, me to Jack, and Jack to empty air. When he realizes there's no one there, he turns back to face us.

"My hands are clean in this. Figuratively," Jack says lightly before biting a nail.

"My actions were my own and to my own purpose. Jack had nothing to do with it," Will says.
