Willow had never been very girly in fact she hated girly stuff. She had always been a tomboy. Most her friends were boys. She was known to hang around the skatepark, pulling off more tricks on the skateboard and bmx bike than most of the dudes. Climbing trees and throwing mud at divas was most amusing to her when she was growing up. At the beach, she hang out with the surfers and was even able to make a stand on bodyboard, taking rides on the biggest waves.
She loved playing football and joined with the guys as well. Her hobbies included all sorts of martial arts and motorbike street races. Most girls who befriended her were interested in her buddies.
For Willow discovering her bisexuality at an early age was no surprise. Many guys were into her but she didn't take compliments easily, mostly when asked out she would reply "fuck off" and raise her fist when the guy was to insistant. She was the kind of girl not to mess with, she was capable of winning every bar fight she got into.
The girls who were her friends felt safe around her, it was almost like being a dude who protected them. Sometimes she would wear a dress and wear makeup and even heels but this would feel like she was dressing up for Halloween, it didn't feel natural. Some of her buddies' girlfriends would gave jealous glares at her and be annoyed of her presence among them.
Mila was the complete opposite of Willow. Mila was a diva, looking pretty, being up to date with the latest fashion and getting a guy's attention was all that mattered. Doing things like those Willow did were not appropriate for her. In fact when Willow and her got to know each other, Willow would throw mud at her and pull her hair. They couldn't stand each other. But after a while they did get along and became friends. Mila was always actively flirting or trying to flirt with Willow's buddies. Willow hated Mila's slutty diva habit. It amused her buddies and some would actually be into Mila, of course not with anything serious in mind, while most of them would just fake interest for her and laugh their guts out once she was out of sight.
Willow would do the same along with them quite often. Also Mila would became very annoyed when she wasn't complimented by guys or asked out. She would tip the shoulder of any random dude and ask "hey, am I pretty?".
Willow accepted they were different but she sometimes wished Mila wasn't so attention seeking and centered on her looks, she often felt ashamed of hanging out with her. It also annoyed Willow that Mila seemed to fit into the stereotype of dumb and pretty. Willow often tried to make Mila understand that it is all about the looks and finding a guy to serve.
Mila would never listen to that and would tell Willow that might work for Willow but not for her. Actually, Mila dreamed of finding a rich guy to marry and became a diva housewife, mantained and not needing to work for herself. Of course Willow disapproved that sort of perspective. Willow was darn sure no woman needed a man in her life to be whole.
Mila would often be jealous that Willow attracted guys more than she did. Willow didn't mean to draw attention on herself, in fact it often annoyed her. Guys would often say to her " I like you because you aren't like the other girls". That phrase sometimes was a compliment and sometimes an insult.
She did feel girly sometimes but being lady like was never her thing, it seemed absurd and lame to her. The girls would sometimes talk her into wearing dresses and painting her nails, sometimes she would give in but think this is not me. Being her was being untamed and boyish just like her like the guys. Her favorite books were books of adventure with boy gangs, which included treasure hunts and quests. She was also quite nerdy, she knew all the nerds and learned all sorts of stuff about technology from them.
No wonder many dudes would often refer to Willow as "cool".
Garett was fascinated by Willow and enjoyed surfing with her and hear her talk enthusiastically about sports and motors. Things with Mila had never been so fun, it was boring to listen to beauty treatments and shopping.
Willow was a great buddy and having become more than that was awesome as well as Willow was very pretty. In fact she was prettier than Mila and what made her even more irrestible was that she didn't give a shit about her looks. Soon he realised that he never felt so complete and understood with any other girl he dated before.
