Caught in-between

Not fair

Mila always claimed that Willow was her bestie and that she had always been absolutely honest with her. Willow believed her, after all they had known each other long enough. She once told Willow that Víctor had  tried to harrass her on some ocassion. But later on Willow sawnher actively flirting with him. Mila would say that it was just a game, joking around among friends and that there was nothing to worry about.

Though secretly they were seeing each other and sleeping together. Both were players and it was only among them that they showed their true selfs. Victor had once told Willow that he and Mila slept together before he started dating Willow. Willow asked Mila about it and she denied it.

Willow and Garett learned the truth and feld backstabbed but they didn't really care as they now had each other. They just ignored the existence of Mila and Víctor. 

Amanda had come to know everything. Garett and Willow would sometimes go to her place. Amanda hadn't cut contact with Mila but she understood why Willow and Garett didn't want to know anything to do with her. She betrayed them and what was worse was that she hooked Willow up with Víctor, knowing exactly what kinda jerk he was. 

Being ignored didn't go well with Mila. She texted Willow begging for forgiveness and to be friends again. Willow as she was good hearted, gave in after a while and started to hang her out with her and Amelía from time to time.

Garett told her to be cautious. He was right as  Willow would soon realise that Mila wasn't so keen on regaining her friendship, her aim was to destroy what Willow had with Garett.

One day they were drinking together and Mila tried ringing Garett unsuccessfully. She got mad. He had been ignoring her for months.

"Willow, do know why he is avoiding me?", she asked her, clearly annoyed.

" I don't know but I guess that means he moved on.", Willow replied while her face brightened up.

Mila became filled with rage.

"What did you say?", she asked. It wasn't a question it was a provocation.

" Garett and I are together now.", Willow said, she loved how it felt like a punch into the face for Mila.

"No, that can't be. We had been together for two years and he was always looking after me no matter what.", she said as she turned away from Willow. 

" Well, you can't play with someone's feelings forever and make them your pets.", Willow replied still feeling triumphant. 

"Oh, as if you don't. Let's see how Garett reacts when he finds out that you still love Víctor.", was Mila's backfiring reply. 

" You bitch!", Willow shouted. After that she began to cry.

She didn't want to be around Mila anymore for now. She walked home and called Garett to tell him what happened.  The next morning they went to Mila's place together. Garett asked her why had treated Willow the way she did.

"Oh come on, you think she is so different from me? Have you asked when was the last time she saw Víctor and how she still has feelings for him?", Mila responded to him, she was smiling. A mocking smile.

Willow interfered: " This not fair Mila. He knows things are over with Víctor and that I wish I never had relationship with him."

"Really? What I see is that Garett my dear doesn't know whom to believe now and that he will come back to me.", that was Mila's statement. 
Garett threw a disgusted glance at her.

" You will see. The time will come darling.", she said with a smile.

Of course the encounter with Mila brought up tension between Garett and Willow. Willow appologized. Garett just wanted to know if there was something true about what Mila had said about Víctor. Shivers ran down Willow's spine and she frowned.

"I swear love since I saw him with Louise and ended things with him, I have only been with you." she told him.

He knew she was telling the truth because he could tell when she lied.
