Hey everyone, hope you enjoy this and leave your feedback below xx

Icringed as my eyes scanned the small piece of paper, travelling over the words which targeted myself. Who would want to torment Zayn this much? I could tell he was trying to hold his anger in for me. His breathing became rugged and as he walked inside, he went straight to the kitchen to retrieve a bottle of water from the fridge.

I didn't know what to say to him. I didn't want to say anything to him. He looks up at me and just stares for a couple of seconds, blinks then looks down again.

"We're leaving." He says to me simply, shrugging his shoulders.

"Leaving?" I question slowly.

"I just got you back. I'm not losing you again." He breathes, shaking his head.

"You're not going to lose me Zayn, just... Tell me what you mean by leaving." I get out, placing my hand on his forearm.

He just sucks in a breath and turns around to me.

"I've spent my entire life on the run Blondie and this is serious. You're in danger and I need to work out who's doing this and get to them before they get to us."

"So you're just going to leave Bradford?"

"No. We're going to leave Bradford." He simplifies as I immediately shake my head.

"No. I have my career here Zayn. I finally finished school and I can protect myself. Besides, Declan, Max and Scarlett are all in the area." I breathe.

"But-"

"I'll be fine." I murmur out.

"I can't leave you by yourself Blondie." He says softly as he looks down.

"I'm not risking it."

"Zayn, I'll be fine." I repeat to reassure him. "If they were to come for me, it would be next year - just like the note says." I explain as I point to the note, watching his eyes wander around the words.

"No." He says. "You don't trust these people, I cannot and will not leave you alone." He says with his eyes darkening.

"It's for a couple of nights and then you're back to see me again. I can manage until then." I say with a huff.

He looks down and gnaws on his lip. "If you don't want me in any harm then, I'll stay at Liam's if you want me to." I get out shaking my head.

"What could Liam do?" He asks with scoff. "Nothing because I can protect myself." I say straightening up.

"No you can't."

"I'm every bit of a man you are. I may not know how to use a gun or knock someone out with a punch but I sure as hell can protect myself." I say straightening up, watching him evaluate the conversation.

"You need me Blondie." He sighs. "Zayn, just trust me on my own this one time?" I plead. "I promise you, once you get back, I'll be perfectly fine." I say as I wrap my arms around his neck, causing him to flinch lightly.

"You're not allowed to get hurt. I can't risk it." He breathes, pressing his forehead on mine.

"I won't." I say with a small smile. "I don't need protection all the time." I say pulling back to give him a nod.

"I want to give you protection all the time though." He huffs.

"That's not possible." I chuckle. "You're mine and I'm going to make sure you're safe." He says.

"Leave the kid alone." Louis chuckles walking down the stairs in nothing but loose boxers, his hair was a mess and he looked completely comatose.

"What are you doing up?" Zayn sighs as he lets go of our embrace, leaning on the bench with his eyebrow raised.
