The next two days passed in a blur for Ryan and Rhys. At night, Ryan would wait for Rhys to be asleep before he would let himself cry. Neither of them spoke about their nightmares. The first day was bedrest only; they had both received some form of concussion. On the second day, some of their time was spent going to the toilet and washing off their bodies – Rhys's leg had been stitched and so had Ryan's hand, so they had to wear waterproof dressings - and were given fresh hospital clothes to wear.

The rest of their time was spent either being asked questions or asking questions. The questions they were asked were all to do with their physical condition and how well they could remember getting the injuries; practically a more detailed version of the questions they were asked in the ambulance. They were asked about how much pain they were in along with a few other questions. Each day they would fill out a little form of what they wanted from the hospital kitchen, and each day they would eat the dull food. The first day was a little more eventful as a therapist visited them to check on their mental health. Ryan instantly shut himself off the moment he saw her come in, so that went down well.

They often asked the doctors about Will and Lewis's condition. Many of the staff seemed to be angry most of the time and couldn't care less about the questions, but Doctor Mac would always answer as honestly as he could – with in the confinements of the law. From what he had seen and understood, Will was in an extremely unstable physical condition. Mac's prediction was correct; the knife had punctured a lung and ruptured his aorta – an extremely important artery in the body. The X-Rays only showed that the cut it received was no thicker than a toothpick, but it was enough to have caused severe blood loss, internal bleeding and a build-up of fluids around the lungs. He had received emergency operations, but for his safety he had been put into a medical coma and wouldn't be woken up any time soon. He needed to heal.

Lewis on the other hand hadn't slept since he got to the hospital. Every doctor in the small ward was terrified of him; no one would or could get close to him unless the entire team was there to help – including security guards. According to Mac, Lewis wasn't necessarily aggressive, just extremely defensive if approached. He didn't eat and rarely drank, often spending most of his time in a corner of a room, hugging himself to calm down. Doctors were currently preparing a sedative to let him get some sleep and give the medical team a chance to properly check his physical condition. The same therapist that had seen Rhys and Ryan would attempt to speak to him, although everyone thought that her attempts would be in vain. Rhys at one point asked to see him, but his request was promptly refused.

Ryan and Rhys were not allowed any contact with the outside world for the reason that the medical team wanted nothing to be seen by the media and they didn't want the location of the most secretive area on site to be discovered. So, no phone calls, no texts and no videos. Both men desperately wanted to talk to their fan-bases to give some sort of explanation as to why they wouldn't be posting for a while. They had come up with a story to cover everyone. If they were to tell it, they would say that yes, Baz was tragically killed and both Will and Lewis were in a coma. They didn't talk much with each other. Ryan rarely talked anymore, unless he needed to do or have something. The silences between them made the Scotsman feel uncomfortable beyond belief.

"Ryan?"

"Sup?"

"We're still friends, right?"

"What the Hell!? Of course!" Ryan stuttered, taken back by the sudden question. "Why would you think otherwise?"

"It's just that I know you don't agree with what Lewis did... well, obviously, I don't agree with what happened either, I was more meaning his, like, accountability and stuff..." Rhys trailed off as Ryan raised an eyebrow.
