The next day was absolute hell.
The man that took him insisted that Marvel call him his master. It was creepy but he found himself doing so, he learned the hard way that if he didn't it would earn him a trip to the punishment room.
Now he was seated in what looked like a dining room, it reminded him of his grandpa's because the table was huge. A small girl sat across from him and the guards were placed the rest of the way down. Marvel's "master" sat at the end next to him. "Little spider, come here."
It took every inch of his will power to comply with this lunatics wishes. He stood up and calmly walked over to him. He pats his lap and Marvel obeys, sitting down. Marvel lays his head on his "masters" shoulder and stares at his neck. Thoughts of the man's venom ran through his head. As sick as it sounded, Marvel wanted him to bite his neck. He wanted to feel nothing. He wanted to escape this nightmare he was forced to live in.
So he leaned closer and whispered into the man's ear breathlessly, "Bite me."
The man was a little shocked the boy's request. He turns his head so he's facing Marvel's ear and replies, "Not here."
The two men get up from the dining room table and before they leave the room, the older man says, "When you finish eating go back to your duties."
The man pulls Marvel down the hall, to the bedroom at the end and threw him at the bed. The boy's body bounced a few times before it settles into the bed. Before Marvel could sit up the man climbing on the bed next to him, getting into a sitting position. Marvel shoots up from where was laying and climbs into the man's lap, his fangs dislodging from the boys' gums. Logic and question flying out the window, animal instinct taking over.
Looking at the man's face, excitement ran through Marvels' body when he found his fangs. He wanted it, badly. It was like a drug that he found himself craving and addicted to. "Please..." Marvel's voice struck a nerve in the man.
Leaning forward he gently bites into the boy's neck and starts to release the venom that Marvel was desperately longing for. Marvel lets out a loud outcry of pleasure, not holding back anymore. Marvel's hand's grasp the older man's face which causes the man to stop and pull away. The blue-haired boy moves forward and licks the man's fangs, getting the rest of the venom.
When Marvel's finished he gets off the man's lap and lays next to him. The man leans on his side and asks, "And what does your venom do little spider?"
"I don't know. They've tried to figure out what it does but they've come up empty." Marvel replies looking down at comforter.
"Well, then why don't we figure it out." He pulls Marvel off the bed and out into the hallway, they walk down to the first room on the left. Upon entering the room he sees a small makeshift lab. It had a centrifuge and some other lab equipment Tim had tried to explain to him but it all got lost in all the hype and noise.
He grabs a vial from the table and hands it to Marvel, "I need a sample."
Marvel nods and then extracts as much venom as he possibly could. He hands the man back the vial and he starts to run it through his database, entering the right diagnostics. When it's finished in under twenty minutes, Marvel is shocked to find all the answers sitting there on the screen in front of him. "It seems like our venoms are the same.
"H-How did you find it so fast? Tim still can't even figure it out." Marvel asks completely surprised at how fast the man was able to solve something that even his grandpa and Tim couldn't solve.
The man lets out a chuckle and replies with a small smirk, "Well he doesn't know what to look for."
Marvel nods and then gets enough courage to ask him the question he's been dying to ask since he got there, "So why exactly am I here? I know I'm supposed to be yours but I don't know what that means. What is my purpose for being here?"
