Damian ended up carrying a passed out sweaty Marvel upstairs to his room. Jason was going to take him off his hands, but Damian insisted he'd do it. He didn't want Jason to feel like he was the only one that had to take care of Marvel when everyone else in the family was more than happy to help him.

Putting him to bed was fairly easy. When Damian laid him down the boy instantly pulled the blanket over himself and curled up. Then he left the room heading across the hall to his own and shutting the door.

It only took the blue-haired boy an hour to recover. He flung himself out of bed and was already throwing on a new set of clothes. Slipping on his shoes he opens the window and crawls down the side of the house. When he reaches the ground he then makes his way off the grounds and starts his journey in finding his master.

Using his senses he finds his way to an abandoned building out by the docks. Opening the door, he's meet with his masters' familiar smell. He slowly closes the door and makes his way to the man standing in the middle of the room. Walking turned into running and he found himself running and jumping right onto his master. "Master..." he breathes out, taking in the man's scent.

"I knew you'd find me, little spider." He tells him, running his fingers through the boy's blue hair. "Gotta love venom reprogramming."

Marvel buries his face into the man's neck and lets his fangs gently brush against his master's skin. Then when small amounts of blood would pop up on his skin, the blue-haired boy began to lick up the blood. His master pulls Marvel's face away from his neck and watches as a small blush forms on his cheeks. But that wasn't what intrigued the man, it was the boy's eye color.

Usually in times of distress, anger, or any strong emotion the boy's eyes would glow a bright red. Now they were a reddish orange. Cupping the boy's cheek his eyes only seemed to glow even brighter which causes a smile to grow on the man's face, "It worked, little spider. Your all mine."

Marvel wasn't in control anymore...

Back at the manor, Tim was downstairs with Jason waiting on the files to decrypt. They needed to know what this mad man was planning and put an end to it. There was still a few minutes left on the files so it gave them plenty of time to talk. "So Rose is taking a liking to you."

"Yeah she is..." Time replies, looking down at the keyboard.

"You sound a disappointed.." Jason says hinting at the discomfort in Tims' voice when he spoke. "What's wrong?"

Tim turns in the chair and faces Jason, "I don't know..I just..I don't think that I'm in the position to be taking care of a kid that's all."

Jason leans down so that he's eye level with Tim, "You know Tim, when I first found Marvel I didn't think was ready either. But you wanna know something. No one is every ready for kids. They're something that just pop into your life but they're there for a reason. And that little girl loves you."

Speaking of the devil, the small red headed girl came running into the cave with her stuffed animal clutched in her hand. She went running straight over Tim, looking past Jason like he wasn't even there. He picks her up and sets her in his lap and while he rocks he back and forth, Jason decides to ask, "What's wrong, sweetheart?"

"I had...a bad dream..." she replies between hiccups. "I think...my old daddy had Marvel..."

"Why do you think that?" Tim asks as he stops rocking her. He nor Jason were prepared for what she was about to say next.

She looks down at her stuffed animal and then back up at Tim with a sad expression, "Well, I went to go and see if you were in your room but you weren't so I went to Marvel. He's not there."

Jason looks at the little girl in Tims lap once before he makes a phone call to Damian, "Damian get up and go check on Marvel, now."

"Why can't you do it?!" Damian says angrily as he gets out of bed. "I'm sure everything's perfectly-." His words were cut short when he opens the door finding Marvel's room empty and his window open. "Yeah, he's gone."

Jason hangs up the phone and says, "Dammit Marvel!"

"Dammit!" Rose says as she excitedly puts her hands up causing Jason to look at the little girl in Tim's lap.

Tim puts her hands back down and says, "That's a grown up word. Sweetie, don't repeat that."

The computer screen changes from a loading screen to a complete file. Tim turns the chair to face the compute and clicks on the file marked MARVEL. When the file opens, the group sees a document marked 'venom reprogram'. Clicking on it, Marvel's Masters' plans were all unfolding in front of them. "The mark's on his neck..."

"I'm gonna kill that sick son of bitch!" Jason says angrily as he continues to read the document.

Rose could tell just by looking at Jason that he was beyond angry, she could feel it. Being to young to understand what's going on she does the one thing she really knows how to do, she gets out of Tim's lap and goes over to Jason. Grabbing ahold of his leg, she begins to focus on calming him. Tim watches in amazement as each second passes Jason starts to get calmer and calmer.

"I'll look through the files. Why don't you take her up to bed. I'll tell Bruce and the others when they get back." Jason says as he picks up Rose and hands her to Tim who gets up from the chair and unwilling agrees to going to bed. He didn't want to have a repeat of the last time he was forced to go to bed.

So Tim went to bed while Jason dug into the files, leaving nothing unopened.

In the warehouse, Marvel found himself laying next to his master on a makeshift bed. His naked body was covered by a blanket. Marvel was wide awake while his Master was passed out. Sleep wouldn't come for him not matter how he tried. Untangling himself from his Master, he slips on a pair of boxers and covers himself in a blanket before going outside.

He knew the dangers of being outside at night in Gotham, but he really didn't care. He could take of himself and if he couldn't his master would. Looking at the water, he wished he could see the stars reflecting off the water. Gotham has to much light pollution for that to happen. So building lights would just have to do.

Marvel began to count them. One by one until the boy got tired. One by one until he finally went back into the warehouse and laid back down with his master. Curling up against the man's body for warmth.
