[Luna lies in a coma in a hospital. Doctors and rushing back and forth trying to find what is wrong. Luna inside her mind has been transported to Spirit World. On the outside, while the Doctors are rushing around, the Masked Man appears. The doctors see him and try to stop him but the Masked Man is able to seal off the room. He sits next to Luna and places his hand on hers. He enters the Spirit World with her. He finds Luna playing with duel spirits]

Luna: Who are you, mister?

Masked Man: A friend.

[Ancient Fairy Dragon appears before the Masked Man and roars. The Masked Man kneels down on one knee and bows his head]

Masked Man: I'm sorry for my intrusion. I know that I don't have an appointment. I came to speak to Luna.

[Ancient Fairy Dragon backs away]

Ancient Fairy Dragon: You may proceed.

[The Masked Man stands up and walks over to Luna]

Masked Man: Do you know where we are?

Luna: The Spirit World. I promised Ancient Fairy Dragon to protect the Spirit World.

Masked Man: I was hoping that I could help you.

Luna: I would really appreciate that. Thank you!

[Encode Talker appears behind the Masked Man alongside a mysterious dragon]

Ancient Fairy Dragon: Who are you?

Encode Talker: I am this boy's protector. I will work with him to protect the Spirit World.

Ancient Fairy Dragon: Your help is welcomed.

Masked Man: Luna, I promise to protect you. No harm will come to you.

Luna: Thank you, mister. I feel safe with you.

Masked Man: I appreciate that. Now, it's time to wake up.

Luna: Huh?

Masked Man: Luna, wake up!

[Luna's eyes snap open. The doctors are able to enter the room again and find her awake. The Masked Man is nowhere to be found. Luna kept the knowledge of the Spirit World to herself. She however forsakes her promise. Years later, Luna and Leo are playing outside. Luna still has the ability to see duel spirits and sees a monster that she recognizes]

Luna: It's you!

Masked Man: Good to see you again, Luna. I'm glad you're doing well.

[The Masked Man became good friends with Luna and Leo. He protected both of them with all he had]
