[Carly is driving wildly in car trying to find Misty to get a good scoop for her blog. She heard that Misty was at an event downtown in New Domino City. Carly arrived but Misty already surrounded by journalists]
Carly: Ah man. I got all the way down here and she's busy? I should've just followed my fortune. It told me I was going to have bad luck today.
[Misty answered all the questions with a smile. Out of nowhere, men armed with guns surrounded the journalists]
Attacker: Everyone, back away! We're from Satellite and we're protesting the harm that topsiders cause us!
[One attacker holds a gun to Misty's head]
Attacker: She comes with us. She's our insurance policy. You want topsiders want her back? Give in to our demands.
[Sector Security arrives. Trudge appears]
Trudge: We'll hear you out! Just let her go!
[Carly is close by watching all of this go down. Trudge is worried since he has limited options. A smoke bomb is thrown in. As the smoke clears, the Masked Man stands in between both groups]
Attacker: Who are you?
Trudge: What are you doing here?
Masked Man: What does it look like? I'm saving the day.
Trudge: Fine. After you win, you'll come with us.
Masked Man: You will try.
[The Masked Man approaches the attackers]
Masked Man: So you're from Satelite? Do you realize what you've done? Topsiders already fear you and believe you all deserve to be in the facility. This just gives them more reason.
Attacker: You're a topsider too! Why should be listen to you?
Masked Man: I'm no topsider. I've been in the facility. Trust me. It isn't a pretty place but it's safer than anywhere else in New Domino City. Now. Let's deal with this the way we always do in this city.
[The Masked Man activates his duel disk]
Attacker: A duel?
Masked Man: You scared?
Attacker: Of course not.
Masked Man: You should be.
[The Masked Man's aura picks up. Wind picks up and the ground shakes]
Masked Man: I would really like to end this easily without hurting you but if you give me no choice...
Attacker: We're not going down without a fight!
[Another attacker walks forward and faces the Masked Man]
Attacker #2: I'm going to take you down.
Masked Man: You will try.
Masked Man/ Attacker #2: Let's duel!

Attacker #2: I'll go first! My turn! I summon Ancient Gear Hunting Hound in ATK Mode!
Ancient Gear Hunting Hound: Level 3- 1000 ATK/ 1000 DEF
Attacker #2: When its summoned, I can inflict 600 LP of damage to you!
Masked Man- 4000 LP - - -> 3400 LP
Attacker #2: I now activate the spell: Polymerization! I fuse the Ancient Gear Hunting Hound on my field and the two in my hand! Watch as the fury of the pack takes the shape of a single raging beast! I Fusion Summon! Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!
