Imma just tell y'all the process. 😂😂
So I downloaded a fake message app and typed up a bunch of unknown numbers that sent a series of similar messages to the one from the prompt. Then I did a Snapchat one where their best friend was typing but never sent a message. (My thing was, maybe the main character never received the message because her friend looked at the moon and something bad happened.) Even changed the time on my phone to 3:00 am.
So, after I did that, I couldn't find the right png of a girl holding a phone. I had to find an image and make my own. It took a minute, haha. Then I made sure that the image I used for the phone background was the same as the one for the main background.
Then, I overlayed a purple moon over the one already existing in the image. (To make it seem unnatural)
And finally, on Over, I used that font I really liked from gabbys and typed up the first title that came to mind. After adding a subtitle, I hopped on over to PicsArt. There, I added the glitch filter and removed it from everywhere except for the phone. (Which kinda counteracted how much time I took to create those fake messages. You can barely see them. 🤦🏻♀️😂)
I added a filter that toned down the colors. And finally, I added what I call a shimmer image, using soft light.
Phew. That was a long, unnecessary explanation.
I honestly love it though. Especially since it's mainly purple.
