I walked out of the library and went to the bus stop.
Today there were a few more people than usual.
But I tried to not let that bother me.
"Pssst! Look over there,"
Within a minute or so, someone poked their finger into my shoulder.
"I saw you ignoring us today, loser,"
I kept my head forward.
"Don't think we haven't noticed you glancing over to the new kid,
He belongs with us,"
They stepped back and glanced around at their little group before sniggering and walking away.
I exhaled a long sigh and reminded myself of how well I did throughout the day.
