When I got home Jason was lying on the couch with my dad & my mom was cooking. It was so peaceful. Like it was a normal day. Like I have a normal life. With normal people. But that's only what it seems.
"Hey Tori. You look exhausted. " my mom laughed & continued cooking.
"Yeah, Blake had a party & nobody told me. I'm so pissed off. " I took off my jacket & put it on the kitchen chair.
"Maybe you should give them a chance to explain, Baby?" My mom sympathized & walked up to me.
"I have, mom! But everyone drops it or hangs up on me. Ugh. Whatever. " I stormed up stairs & slammed my room door. It was only 6:00pm but I showered & got ready for bed.
"Tori, I'm really sorry about the party.. We were all just upset. We thought you were moving for Aydan & for your old friends & at first Andrew didn't believe you were leaving & then you confirmed it & he flipped. But then you explained to us why you were moving.." A message from Blake popped up. Why didn't they give me a chance to explain? Why didn't they ever ask me?
"Yeah well I don't care. You guys clearly don't care about me enough to ask me for the real reason. You believed a rumor & acted on it. Do you really think I'm just going to forgive you guys?" I replied. I don't know if I should forgive them or not. I put my phone on charge & fell asleep. It took me awhile to fall asleep but I did in the end.
"Wake up" Jason put on the lights & ripped the blanket off of me.
"Fuck you" i moaned & shivered my way to my dresser. I pulled out a pair of high waisted jeans, My Nike Air Forces & tucked in a black lace top. I ran down stairs, grabbed my flask filled with tea & took an apple.
"BYE MOM!" I screamed & made my way to my car.
I parked my car & walked to my locker. I'm mad at all my friends but at least Abigail will take me in.
"Tori, we are so sorry. We did react to a rumor & it was so wrong considering you are one of our best friends. Please forgive us? " Courtney gave me puppy dog eyes & everyone joined in.
" I forgive you but that doesn't mean I'm not upset. I'm really disappointed in all of you & I feel extremely betrayed." I closed my locker door & made direct eye contact with Chelsea. But I'm not scared of her. I can destroy her life just as badly. I'm a vampire. She has nothing on me.
"Chelsea's after me. She told me she's going to make my life a living hell & left a note in my car & what what" I rolled my eyes & walked to the cafeteria.
"Aren't you scared? Holy.. That girl is known for destroying people's lives." Nicole jumped. Nicole is so worried about her reputation & having someone like Chelsea hate her.
"Nah. I'm leaving anyways" I laughed & Andrew walked off & Blake ran after him.
"Again" I rolled my eyes & groaned. I ran after Andrew who was sitting on the bench in the parking lot with Blake. I signaled for Blake to leave & sat down next to Andrew.
" Andrew. I won't forget you. I promise. You make me sound as if I can just drop anybody & be fine? I can't, dude. Like you all mean so much to me, it would hurt too much to just leave you all behind." I put my hand on his lap to try comfort him.
"You know I see you more than just my best friend? I see you as my sister. & you're a very pretty girl, Tori. I don't want your heart to be broken & I'm not there to set the boy straight like I've always been. " he looked me in the eyes & took my hand off his lap & intwined our fingers.
